Today's car rental tip, if you fly to Florida and rent a car over the next few months you can get the car rental for about 5-10 dollars a day but at the end of you're vacation you have to agree to drive it north to get the car back up to a northern location. So if you go to Florida during the winter you can get a highly discounted rate on mileage and rental from the rental agency to drive it back north, usually much less than a plane ticket. That's on pretty much any rental, SUV, sports or large car. It saves them a ton of money to do this.
