Yeah, I've got a summer cold too. Don't know if its strep. But I was coughing quite a bit at work today and sucking down the cough drops like candy. Other people too. Might take tomorrow off.

Well I am lucky I had a box of quick home made Pho with brown rice noodles I got somewhere. I put a whole bunch of garlic and ginger and cut up veggies and just drank that down. I needed to eat-it just took a while before I could swallow anything.
I am finishing up watching Black mirror on Netflix and then I think I am going to nap. : (
Grrrr I will miss my camping trip this weekend.

What I learned is that Strep can come on quickly and doesn't usually have coughing along with it.
I went to the doctor and got antibiotics-supposed to be not contagious after 24 hours. If I didn't-I would be contagious for maybe 2 weeks.
But I was probably getting sick by last Friday anyway.
I feel better now. not 100% but better.
I heard Sally got stripped throat.

I'm still not feeling 100% either. I need to get to urgent care/the emergency room and get the throat checked out. My throat feels dry all the time, sore and painful, coughing up thick mucus, and I'm pretty sure there is a lump on my throat that shouldn't be there. Plus the occasional difficulty breathing and swallowing. Today is the second day I took off work because of this shit. I should of have had it checked out back in February when my throat was bothering me but then mostly went away.
It sounds like late stage throat cancer, Clang. Either that or a brain tumor.

That's what I get for only smoking on Saturdays and at
special events like beer fests. Should have just been chain smoking several packs of cigarettes a day.
I feel so much better now. 5 days. That was quick! I even rode my bike today.
