I agree with that. This isn't something I would normally give any thought to because of that but after reading about the accusation/s against Robert Kraft (and the gossip that there is an even more prominent person involved) I wanted to know why men would be moved to do that. Not that they wanted a hummer but the circumstances of it. Meh. I'm probably overthinking it.

And what is it that these women once they find out their husband is cheating that makes them stay?

I mean I know couples move past and work through infidelity. But I have also seen where she just turns a blind eye and keeps the house and the status quo.
I would not want to live like that.

The same could be asked of women who sleep around.

I was a good looking kid a million years ago when I was married and I was pursued by one work mate really hard. I found it flattering. Made it clear where the line was and I "think" she saw that as competition.

Every day I woke up with my wife who felt gross and depressed and tired and had just given birth to our newborn son. I got ready for work, pottered around trying to comfort her with her misery and say goodbye to my little boy. Then I would head to work. At work the moment I walked in, there she was. He connected. Great conversation. Joking. Same wavelength. Where had she been up until then? Then I would go home to my unhappy wife and help with tidying up and looking after my boy and preparing meal and soon as we'd eaten and she had fed the baby, she would go to bed an I would stay up to comfort my boy and get him to sleep, and make sure she did not wake if he work during the night and needed attending to. Then come 2am-3am I would wake my wife and she would take over and I would get a few hours sleep.

Rinse and repeat.

Around the time I was leaving that job (a couple of months later - I had found a better one) she let us know there was a social for the recruitment firm I had been hired from she was the only person I knew from the social and visa versa.

She had her opportunity and asked if I was going. I said no. She said the only person she knew likewise was me BUT if I went, she would buy me my first drink if I could have first dance. She said she would dress up for the occasion and it would be fun.

Alarm bells did not go off then and it sounded great! I needed a bit of fun. I asked my wife what she thought and whether she was okay with it. She said she was fine. I left the company.

Never went to the social. Never told the girl I wasn't. It would have been fun in a lot of ways. We would have definitely slept together. But I took my responsibilities for being a parent and a husband pretty seriously.

I often thought 'For all the good that was. You ended up splitting up 4 years later'. But then I would have my conscience to live with and things would NOT have lasted with the girl. Also and most importantly, my little girl would not have been born".

Look I can see how it happens easy enough but it is just morally low o n the part of both people fucking each other.

I think unless you have a mutual understanding and that's the lifestyle you are both ok with or you're already in a bad place in the relationship then it's the lowest of the low to fuck around. It's not possible to be in a truly loving relationship while having sex with other people, it just isn't.

I'm not sure, its an age old question and Maybe Shelly Winters from the movie "Alfie" has the answer she had "attitude" and knew how to please a guy even though she wasn't pretty. That goes a long way.

She could pull off sexy though.
