Where the hell did Summer 2008 go ?...Seems like it was just Memorial Day and the season was about to begin...I'm just learning how to properly cook on the grill damnit...I need more time !
Woo! What you lose, I gain. Spring is here and it's time to crank up the barby!
i just LOVE the end of mosquito-infested, hot as hell, kids out of school where they belong, summer! heh heh. first day of school i always met the bus with a bottle of champagne! SUMMER SUCKS DONKEY BALLS! Fall is cool and pretty and there's no rotten little rug-rats bothering you from 7 to 3. here comes halloween and the holidays!

but be advised, halloween is an evil demonic satanic holiday. ::dlaugh::
I actually like fall too, jb...Football...fires in the fireplace...the glorious foliage, etc...I'm going to try and make the scarecrow thats in F U's avatar, that thing cracks me up.
don't tell anyone, but i like to bake cookies too. :Blush:spicy ginger cookies!
I won't tell...I can keep a secret...Cookies, mmmm...maybe some cider to go along with 'em.
We make our kids go to school in summer, except for four weeks over Christmas. Fuck that giving them all summer off, that's crazy shit
Isn't it difficult to get into the spirit of the holidays when its 120 in the shade ?...I did outside decorating one year when it was in the 70's and I thought that sucked HUGELY !

my first year in florida, stringing outdoor Christmas lights on palm trees in my bathing suit, i knew i had made a big mistake!

yes, my ginger cookies are perfect with cider, i'll post the recipe in oct. just to annoy Sin. Smiley_emoticons_biggrin
Oh pffft. You've been listening to OP too much. Very few places, apart from the centre of Australia get warmer than 35 - 37 degrees celcius over summer. Most of the coastal areas are flat out getting over 37 more than three or four days a year. You might get a week of heat at 40 and then its done and dusted. We only get humidity in the tropical north, which is where less than 10% of the population live. It's like South Central LA, if you choose to be stupid enough to live there, suffer.
try wearing a bullet-proof vest and polyester uniform when it's 100 degrees F outside and the humidity is so gross that fish are in the streets.
HELLO !....I don't listen to OP...He always tries to chew me up so I steer clear...Jeez, pay attention.

Probably no worse than wearing heavy duty Hi-Vis cotton drill from wrist to ankle in the west Papuan jungle at 38C and 94% humidity, sitting next to a 4000 hp diesel engine thats running at about 80C

Those tax free US dollars sure do ease a lot of pain though... Smiley_emoticons_biggrin
BDUs? i love them! comfort!

but i could do without the jungle. then again, south florida is a jungle. with giant 30-foot pythons.
I loathe humidity.
Ummm.. what are BDU's?
