She has been under a lot of stress

When I hear the words Capri Pants or Leotards, I immediately think of Laura Petrie.
OMG MTM was responsible for Capri pants becoming a major fashion hit. Contrasting Barbara Billingsley doing housework in a dress and pearls or the ever so proper Donna Reed.

"A small controversy occurred because of Mary Tyler Moore wearing Capri pants on the show. Up until the show's premiere most housewives were seen in dresses, but Moore's explanation was that most of the housewives she knew wore pants. Because of Moore, Capri pants became a huge fashion craze in the early 1960s. Laura usually wore Capri pants on the show. The network was against this at first, and said that she had to be in a skirt for a certain number of scenes per episode. To fight this, they filmed a scene where Laura walked into the kitchen in Capri pants and came out a second later in a skirt. The network finally relented."

Lindsay packing for rehab, not kidding. She uploaded this pic to Instagram with the caption - 90 days, 270 looks. Whatta tard.

Knowing what she does, I bet she wishes she could go back to being 12 (filming The Parent Trap) and get a 'do over'.
I read that the "rehab" she is supposed to go to will only allow 7 changes of clothes.

Yikes! That is a Glamour don't!

Actress Angelina Jolie announced in a New York Times op-ed article on Tuesday that she underwent a preventive double mastectomy after learning she carries a mutation of the BRCA1 gene, which sharply increases her risk of developing breast cancer and ovarian cancer.

"My doctors estimated that I had an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer, although the risk is different in the case of each woman," Jolie wrote. "Once I knew that this was my reality, I decided to be proactive and to minimize the risk as much I could. I made a decision to have a preventive double mastectomy."

Story
I'm not sure how I feel about these preventative mastectomies. Two of my friends from High school have breast cancer. What they are going through now is horrible. I would have supported the preventative surgery in their case had they known they carried the gene. I don't want to see women in a panic getting these procedures done.

Unless you have a Dr. like Dr. Death up in Philly I don't see any Dr.'s entering into this lightly, there is also counseling that women would go through. I'm all for it & feel lucky that I live in a time that we have such awesome medical technology.
87% is a really intimidating percentage I think she did the right thing.

So . . . how do you really feel about prophylactic mastectomies? hah
Thats horrible! What do they do unstuff the tits then put the flap of skin over a couple of replacement parts?

I would support my friends choices. I could give two shits what you would do.

hah

Look for the insult and you'll find it.

Gee, stupid . . . didn't you think we all understood you supported the procedure if the data presented a proclivity towards cancer? The edited quote was the giveaway.

There was no confusion on what side of the issue you supported. It was a good natured poke . . . that's all.

I'd get busy and give two shits, princess . . . your impacted bowel, not your gall bladdder, is releasing your charming inner self this morning.

I'd like to see insurance pick up the cost for that test given it would save so much in the long run. I heard a couple talking heads say most women won't get the test because of its cost & thought it was going to be astronomical, it's $3,000.00, I don't think that's a lot given what it determines.

Obama care will pick up the tab.

It's in there . . . really.

I'm pretty sure.

I think.

Well, maybe.

While funny, that's a crappy comment to make! (especially if true)

Might it be backed up?

It's possible that rams may be impacted in an uncomfortable way by the whole thing.

(Okay, I'm a flush now; enough classy bathroom humor from me. Just that once it starts running, it's almost impossible to stop at will and wipe it clean from mind). 50
