This thread is sorta/kinda inspired by a comment of HOTD's I just read...

Do you take responsibility for your own actions?

I own my own crap, the only time I place blame on others is when it comes to how I regard them & in that I mean, I feel the way I do about someone, anyone, because they made me feel that way.

That happens all the time to people but nothing says we have to accept it or take it on as our own.

It depends, how much of it becomes your own depends on how much you have to deal with to get rid of it.

Ah, that one wasn't BS.

It surprises me when people want to blame a man for something a woman chose to do. I have done some self destructive things in my day, while romantically involved with someone. I would never blame the man I was with or allow anyone else to blame him for my poor choices, even if he had a part in the scene. Insulting to assume that a woman is that powerless (unless we're talking domestic abuse and such where there is no safe out, whole 'nother story there).

I can't stand the blame game. When I see it going on it tells me all I need or want to know about the person doing it.
