Maybe she didn't want any of us to have it. While I was looking for it I did find this quote of mine from 2010. I've been drinking pure cranberry juice all this time and what do you know, there's something wrong with my bladder all of the sudden. I guess that was a bullshit myth.

hah I read that when I was looking for the recipe.

Sometimes I read old threads and there are some very funny comments throughout Mock. Some are hysterical, like some people giving you shit because you're not really a dentist. Hahaha!

I remember posting a recipe for a cranberry salad and that isn't in here either, so maybe there is another cranberry thread that her recipe could be in? People do seem to like cranberries around here so I guess it's possible.

Sally...I went over to 24hour forums looking to see if there was cranberries there, and did find a cranberry salad recipe there, were you there under a different user name?

Yes, THAT forum is still around, on life support but still there. I am not even signed in any more, but can get recipes as I owned the food forum there

Thanks, QB! I just went all the way through that thread looking for Sally's cranberry salad recipe, I didn't find it but I found one for your Uncle Danny's wings, Sally. hah

There sure is a lot of LC & Cracker in that thread. It made me feel nostalgic.

This was posted on my forum in 24. Not sure if this is Sally's as it was a different user name. Also not sure if it is what you were looking for. But I am posting it anyway. So sue me.

Cranberry Salad

12 ounces fresh cranberries coarsley chopped in food processor
1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple with juice
1and 34 cups of sugar
12 pint heavy whipping cream
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups mini marshmallows

In large bowl stir cranberries, pineapple with juice, and sugar. Let stand about an hour. Pour mixture into a strainer and allow to drain in fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Before serving, whip the cream untill soft peaks form. In a large bowl mix cranberry mixture, marshmallows, and walnuts. Fold in whipped cream and serve.

Thanks, honey, I know who that is. I think it's so funny we both have the same cranberry salad recipe.

Well, if you like it, I may just make it. Not sure if I will make it for T-giving, but will for Christmas, for sure.

You won't be disappointed, it's a wonderful recipe. It reminds me more of a dessert rather than a side.

Hey, a question, though, with hubby being diabetic, would the sugar substitute be OK instead of the sugar? Usually I find it to be OK.

I don't see why not.

That's me, I forgot I used that name at 24. I could have swore I used the name Sally, but it's been years since I posted there.

I found that cranberry recipe on Allrecipes. com and thought it was a winner. I thought I posted it here though, I guess you have a better memory than me.
