Shit that Bannecorn eats.
#21
One time I went out there and said "what the fuck is that SMELL???" The next day it was all cleaned up but since then he's been able to make it smell OK. I'm not sure how the hell he's doing it but I saw a glad box with zip lock bags in it on the table. I'm kinda afraid of looking in any desk drawers or the filing cabinet.

Bannecorn had a bad day today, the other day he sprained his ankle so today eating his food at break his shoe was off and he was using his sock to "floss" his toes. Not that that's a bad thing but he was also eating a pc of chicken. lay the chicken on the table , floss a toe eat a few bites floss another toe. He is amazing! His ankle was all puffy and he laid a wet cold towel around his ankle, not just any towel but a Dora towel.

For todays installment of "Shit that Bannecorn eats" we have a vegetable platter.
Today I walked over to give him an emergency fitting to make and as I got closer to his corner of the world I found him fishing around in one of those plastic bags you get at the shopping center. A smell that was extra bad got worse as I got closer to him, his hand was groping inside of it for something. He pulls out a cucumber that's dripping rotten vegetable juice from something else that was in the bag, maybe a tomato more cucumbers or who knows or really cares at this point.
He pulls out the good cucumber and rinses it off with water from a gallon jug he had handy. He wipes off the cucumber and starts eating it. Not to be called a slob he ties up the bag from hell and wraps it in plastic shrinkwrap still stinking and tosses it in the trash. I have smelled compost piles that smelled better than that crap.

At least he's eating health food.

To be fair, he did wash the rotten off the good cucumber. Cucumbers have pretty thick skin and unless it's organic they also have a shiny coat of wax on them.

Yup. But man..............that bag really stunk. Don't get me wrong, I like him, we used to do karate and I've known him for 18 yrs or more. We've helped each other move, had cookouts all kinds of stuff. But he eats some really funky stuff and it amazes me so I have to share.

Bannecorn was on a chicken kick this week so Wed he went out and bought one of those roasted chickens from the deli. So he's been nibbling on it for the last few days. Today i walk over there to his work area and there's the chicken under his gloves waiting for him to come in Saturday to do some overtime. I'm not sure how long those things stay good when they're not in a refrigerator but I just bet that something happens to the integrity of a chicken after being left out in the air for 3 days. at least it's still in that plastic container it came in from the store.

This week Bannecorn was good about his food and him being the truly health conscious guy that he is was impressive this morning. I went to tell him that he won the pool this week and I forked over his winnings. I noticed that he had the donuts still in the box on his table that one of the salesmen gave out on Monday and saw there were still a few in there. He reached inĀ and pulled out a really nice Boston cream chocolateĀ covered one and dipped it into his cup. I know he doesn't like coffee and will drink tea most of the time but he was all out so he had water in the cup and had to use something as the doughnut was a bit stiff. He was really happy to win the pool and wiped his hand on his pants and patted me on the back. He also had a couple of jelly left in the box for his lunch and life is good for him today on this glorious Friday morning.

Today Bannecorn had his "birthday cake" he turned 50 last Thursday and was walking around today offering the 14 that was left. Triple chocolate. There were no takers for some reason.
