I saw some gossip earlier in one of the sports rags that talked about tension between Tom, Bill and the owner. Do you know anything about that?

I heard that Tom is miffed that his personal trainer has been kicked out of the Patriots facilities and he’s upset because Belichek hasn’t been praising him enough this season.

IMO, Brady is the G.O.A.T. so you do whatever he asks and put up with whatever assistants he wants hanging around the place.

I can't think of a QB that has stayed with the same team as long as him. Maybe in the 60's and 70's. M.S. or Blind melon chitland would know.

Joe Montana with the Niners: 14 season

Roger Staubach with the Cowboys: 11 seasons.

I think this is Brady’s 17th or 18th season with NE.

Darryl Lamonica? Kenny Stabler? Dan Marino? Dan Fouts? Peyton Manning? I think Favre had 1516 seasons with the Pack.

Len Dawson? Ron Jaworski? Fran Tarkenton? Jim Kelly? Boomer Esiason? Phil Simms? Joe Namath? Johnny Unitas? Bart Starr?

There are many candidates, Maggs.

Need you to do some research.

As long as its The Bills, Panthers, Jaguars, or Patriots that make it to the Superbowl. I don't care. Just one has to make it to the Superbowl and win for me to win my $10 Superbowl bet and have the loser buy a 12 pack of beer.

That's all I can hope for too. The Dynasty will end and someone else may take up the gauntlet. Before Brady it was always doom & gloom. I remember.

AFC Wildcard:
Buffalo 19, JACKSONVILLE 13

The Bills qualified for the post-season because Andy Dalton threw a 52 yard TD on 4th and 12 in Baltimore with time expiring, knocking the Ravens out and sending Buffalo to their first post-season appearance since 1999 when they lost in to the Titans in the Music City Miracle. So, with a negative point differential for the season, the Bills take advantage of Blake Bortles and win!

KANSAS CITY 24, Tennessee 23.

KC has come to life after a mid-season swoon. Tennessee played ugly at the end of the season, but I see this being TENN’s game until something dramatic late gives the Chiefs the win.

NFC Wildcard:
LA RAMS 34, Atlanta 20

For whatever reason, the Falcons have just not looked that good offensively for the last 4 weeks or so. They’ll need to score in this one to keep up with Todd Gurley & Co. There’ll be no playoff jitters for Jared Goff and Sean McVay as they roll.

Carolina 27, NEW ORLEANS 24

Everyone’s darling Drew Brees throws a late pick to seal the Saints’ fate. New Orleans has already beaten Carolina twice this year, but doing it a 3rd time is hard to do. Cam and the Panthers find some offense (Newton and Stewart running). Defensively, they do just enough to pull out a nice road victory.

AFC Divisional:

NEW ENGLAND 33, Buffalo 16

This becomes like another bye week for the Pats as they steamroll an overmatched Bills squad playing with house money.

Kansas City 23, PITTSBURGH 21

What’s going on with the Steelers? Antonio is not 100% and turnovers do them in. Alex Smith leads a 2nd 4th quarter game winning drive to propel them to the Championship game.

NFC Divisional:

Carolina 23, PHILADELPHIA 19

The Panthers continue their mistake-free football and take out the Eagles. Foles actually plays decently until a late pick in crunch time seals Philly’s fate.

MINNESOTA 27, L.A. Rams 17

Shaking off early jitters (and another early Rams TD), Minny shows off their offensive prowess and limits Todd Gurley to less than 60 yards rushing. Murray runs for a TD, and the D sets up another score with a strip-sack of Goff.

AFC Championship:
Kansas City 30, NEW ENGLAND 27

I mean, why not? KC won there Week 1 and NE hasn’t played anyone good since their miracle win over Pitt more than a month ago. If anyone knows NE’s weaknesses, it’s Andy Reid. The Chiefs take care of the ball and kick the GW FG late.

NFC Champiionship:
MINNESOTA 29, Carolina 14

After losing to the Panthers in Charlotte the Vikes get Cam in their backyard and it’s a different story. The defense is flying to the ball and creates 3 Panthers turnovers.

SUPER BOWL LII:
Minnesota 26, Kansas City 10

Enough said.

Total dominance!
Carolina... Sitting on the couch the rest of the season. Your boys get the Saints and we host Atlanta. I like our chances against Atlanta as long as Foles and the offense can put up 2 TD's. Our D can handle the rest.

Can I have a do-over?

What a mess!

Anyway, Falcons and Saints are obviously better teams than Rams and Panthers, they sowed that.

I’m very nervous for our squad and remarkably, I feel like Eagles defense will have little problem with Matt Ryan and Co.

The AFC is a joke, with the 2 squads facing Pats and Steelers.

Anyway, I give up on this year’s prognosticating. That was as bad as it could possibly be.

I think your boys get past the Saints. I think my boys get past Atlanta which would put the Vikes at the Linc. Time will tell, and I'm gonna cheer my boys on whole heartedly, but if it comes down to the Vikes and Iggs, I don't like our chances without Wentz. Good luck next weekend MS.

Good luck BG & Duchess this weekend!

As D noted, this is the time of year your stomach twists into knots.

Eagles and Vikings fans have endured A TON.

Time for at least one fan base to be rewarded.

It really has & I won't lose sight of that. It's been so much fun. I musta watched Jake Elliot kick that field goal against the Giants a zillion times. Every time I do I am taken right back to that moment in time and I was so happy, hollering and laughing and jumping around, it was a fricken blast and for the first time in a long time I had several games that weren't spent with my head in my hands muttering like a crazy lady. I love my team.

Thanks, MS! I wish you good luck too!

It's very exciting to be only a couple games away from the biggest game of all.
