NFL 2017

As D noted, this is the time of year your stomach twists into knots.

Eagles and Vikings fans have endured A TON.

Time for at least one fan base to be rewarded.
Agreed, and as I said if my boys don't make it I will be a Vikes fan. Cheers MS

It really has & I won't lose sight of that. It's been so much fun. I musta watched Jake Elliot kick that field goal against the Giants a zillion times. Every time I do I am taken right back to that moment in time and I was so happy, hollering and laughing and jumping around, it was a fricken blast and for the first time in a long time I had several games that weren't spent with my head in my hands muttering like a crazy lady. I love my team.

Chuck Foreman at the club again working out.

Just spoke to him.

Said, “Hi Chuck, will you be at the game Sunday?”

He said, “Yep, but I’d rather be at home watching on my TV.”

Asked me if I was going.

He said he’s going to tell the guys the playoffs are a whole nother animal. Can’t make mistakes.

That was it.

Love025 Awesome!

I got star struck when I met a couple of my guys. Jesus Christ. My girlfriend had to give me a little kick. Ugh. There isn't an eyeroll big enough.

He’s always been a pretty good guy and has remained in MN after his career ended 30+ years ago.

His son played high school ball here and went on to play in the NFL too I believe.

He doesn’t get around the gym very well right now. He needs a walker of some type.

But, as I’ve noted with my 2 boys and others:

You play running back in the NFL, you are one TOUGH S.O.B. !

I was just thinking today that my grill needs some love. maybe some cheeseburgers with bacon or something, extra sharp Cheddar on a nice bulky roll w/pickles. maybe a hot house tomato. I have time to contemplate this stuff.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Why would she do that? Why?

Game Day! GAME DAY! My game is at 4:30. It's going to be cold & windy at the Linc. I'll either live to fight another day or my season will be over. Protect the ball and do your jobs.

Good luck today Eagles fans (though you can understand why I’d want ATL to win because Vikes could get another home game).

Anyway, I’ve never seen a #1 seed get as little support nationally as your Eagles.

It’s really unbelievable.

Did the other 52 guys on the squad all leave? No, there’s more than 1 guy that propels a football team.

Back in my gambling days, I’d be unloading on Philly today simply because everyone is going against them.

Totally understand!

Many people think Carson was our whole team. I can't even listen to any of the sports shows because they all talk about what a great young team we have and then they mention Carson in a hushed voice like there's been a death. It's so fucking depressing. My team has a lot of talent on it but it gets lost in all the chat about our injured QB.

I have hope & I believe. Nick doesn't have to do it all, he has a great deal of help.

Brian Dawkins did a pump up video. Smiley_emoticons_smile

Philly played ATL last year in Philly.

ATL ended up going to the Super Bowl with largely the same offensive players that they have today.

In last year’s game, ATL had 11 1st Downs, 303 total yards of offense, only possessed the ball for 21:30 and scored just 15 points.

I feel like this year’s Falcons offense is not nearly as explosive as last year’s.

^ voila, now that’s more like it.

Congrats Eagles fans, the road to Minneapolis goes through the Linc.

Going out on a limb saying Philly will not be a Home Underdog again next week.

All I could picture at the end of the Eagles game was Duchess peeking through her fingers. hah

My back was to the television & I was praying. OMG.

They all did their jobs, Nick got the ball out and passed it around. Players did what they were supposed to do. I had hoped they hadn't seen or heard what was being said all week but they did and I knew for sure they did when I saw Lane Johnson wearing a German Shepard mask. Ahahahaha.

I think we will be. I haven't read anything yet but there will be commentators who still won't give my team their due. It's just the way it is.
