You worked really, REALLY hard to drop the weight you did. I remember.

Good luck Wednesday. You won't need it though. Can't wait to hear about it!

I don't recall any crispyness. I made 2 versions. I made one for myself with regular lowfat meat and then I made one for the house with lowfat meat mixed with spicy churizo. I tried that one and it was tasty also!

Today it snowed 6-7 inches and after I cleared it off the sun melted whatever was left over, its about 40 deg. out and climbing so I will fire up the grill and cook hamburgers hot dogs and a nice porterhouse. I mixed the hamburg with a packet of lipton soup mix and put it back in the fridge for an hour to let the magic happen, some extra sharp cheddar (the dumbo at the deli gave me a pound not a 14 lbs like I asked) so its dbl cheese for everyone. Let the party begin! Dancingparty

I love the smell of a grill.

I'd like some grilled pineapple slices. NomNomNom

A plate full of grilled veggies sounds nice.
I mean I would eat a plate full of steak also, but there is something to be said for well grilled veggies.

Everything seems to taste better when grilled.

Sometimes we go to this Honduran restaurant that makes a grilled octopus and potato dish, it's really good. I could eat it everyday.

I'm a grilling mofo. I've been experimenting with an apple wood mesquite mixture lately. Delicious.

Grilled fish tacos. I'm starving and can't wait. But by the time I go to the store and buy all the ingredients and then prepare it, I won't want it anymore. That's how it always works for me.

Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

I'm using mahi that I got from the fish market because it was just being filleted while I was there. I've been going there for 20 years and their seafood is always fresh off the boat.

I remember you mentioning some type of fish from Hawaii and I can't remember the name of it, but I know I have never seen it there. They have every other kind fish you can think of though.

I was going to try to say something good about it to cheer you up, but I couldn't think of anything.

And I made a homemade hot sauce out of sautéed onion and garlic, fresh tomatoes, jalapenos, and serrano peppers. I pureed it and simmered it for 20 mins. than added fresh oregano, lime juice, chipotle hot sauce, cilantro and salt and pepper. Awesome. Thanks for the recipe Bobby Flay.

I also made a sauce out of sour cream, lime juice, garlic powder, a little mayo, ancho chili powder and Sriracha to go on top of the tacos along with shredded cabbage, avocado, roasted jalapenos and shredded cojita cheese.

Imma gonna grow a bunch of Jalapenos this year. maybe 6 plants. That will get me about a hundred of the little squirts. Maybe more if I start drinking Coronas.

I've never gotten the squirts from drinking a Corona. Had one last weekend and plan on drinking a bunch more down in Miami in June. I might get the squirts though from some "funky" beers my friend's sister in law plans on introducing me to.

Sounds better than the beef patties and fried pickle chips I ended up having for dinner.
