COST OF TUITION
#1
Effective immediately NYU will grant free tuition to all present and future medical school students. Before this, it cost $55,000 a year. I applaud this.

When did education become so expense? I'm not so old that I can't remember my Mom writing a check for my tuition. It didn't break the bank, no one had to get a second job or cash in their savings. I didn't have a student loan I'm still paying off. I've never given this much thought and now that I have I think it's somewhat outrageous that some people are well into adulthood and still paying off student loans.

Look up the salaries of many college administrators. Then look up the trustees salaries. They do not pay taxes much like a church does not. And the final answer is....................Greed.

Yeah I think its outrageous as well. Like WTF...I still owe like $17,000 and I only used my History degree for a state job that took me almost 20 years to get after college.

NYU likely will just add on another 20% to the tuition of all non medical course students to make up the difference!

Lucky Them.

It just may force all their students to become medical students!  hah
