I'm not concerned about the kidney comment because I'm pretty sure mine are fine but it gave me pause when I read it can affect your brain and cause neurological disorders. Jeez, Sal. I'm having second thoughts now. I think you should stop eating it, Sally. Stop here

On the other hand it has been shown useful in treating liver problems and diabetes. It even attacks cancer cells in the liver and more studies are being done on it. What an odd and delicious fruit.

I don't know that there is anything delicious about him, but he nailed the odd fruit part. Two out of three isn't bad.

Yeah he's more like a Durian.

Thank God, nobody in my office is selling them or else there would be a thin mints and samoas shortage.

Sally, what do you know about Portobello mushrooms?

That they're delicious. I like all mushrooms, even the kind that make you lose your mind. Why, are you planning on doing something with them?

I was intrigued when I read that some people have made them like a burger, they were referred to as meaty. I don't have a plan to do anything with them but I do have an interest.

Sally, I need you to talk about herbs, and not the kind I like to smoke, the kind you use to flavor your food. Are there one or two that you frequently use? You're Mock's very own kitchen bitch so lend some insight. Thanks!

I like them all. My basil didn't make it through winter, but the chives, oregano, mint, thyme and rosemary are growing. I've been liking rosemary lately, it goes well with potatoes. Although it has too strong of a flavor for some people.

That weathered fence is freakin' gorgeous. People pay a lot of money to have things painted to look exactly like that. Tis bee-u-tee-ful.   75

Your herbs look great too. I need spice lessons. *sigh* I only care sometimes.

I never thought about it until now, it actually does look good with that grayish weathered look.

Talking to Duchess earlier, she lamented her one desire was to have some peace and quiet while she is cooking. I did her a favor by removing the battery from her smoke detector.

LOL

That is a nice fence and spices Sally! I almost complimented the bricks, but I didn't want to go overboard.
