THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY
@Fry Guy
You know who comes up with White Supremecy?
White people.
There aren't any black people saying, "Oh I think I will just start getting shot by white people and then call them all white supremists" For the fun of it.
No.

Progressives are not swaying anyone to be racist, or saying there are more racists than there actually are. Your arguement is a diversion from solving the problem.

The real problem of racisim
which President Trump fails to denounce.

See, that's the reason I have that asshole blocked. He's got nothing worth reading.

I said that did i? You senile old hag.

That right there is part of reason you can't converse with Progressives. They are not about exploring other ideas or challenging their own understanding and they will lie, misrepresent, and give false equivalence with no account to honesty, consistency or integrity. Because if at the end of the day they further the Progressive values, then this is what matters.

Now as an honest viewing of what i said, did i say, imply, infer, suggest or drive any relationship between White Supremacist gunmen and Progressives? No.

I did say that Progressives with their divisive and polarising agendas will swell the ranks of White Supremacist who will rebel against the kind of identity politics in which white men are expected by virtue of their immutable characteristics to be belittled, hated, scorned and dismissed.

Nothing i said had a thing to say as to whether Progressives are responsible for White Supremacists attacks.

There are few who believe white supremacists are decent people. I would imagine keeping them a fringe element best. They are fringe - estimated at somewhere around 20 000. That IS fringe, statistically. Still a worry. Imagine 20000 angry and coordinated white supremacist carrying out any violent action or 5000 or 500 or 100 or 50. It is a threat but compare their numbers, influence, and coordination to the Progressives.

No, black supremacist group exist too and it is often when tensions are heightened and a group feels disenfranchised or under threat that things come to the fore.

Neither are excused by their racial demagoguery. Recognising it does not all happen in a vacuum is hardly controversial.

So are you going to do the same argument about black supremacists as you did white supremacists? No you won't because it will feel wrong and a little racist and unfair, ask yourself why that is?

I haven't said white supremacists do not exist nor that they are of no threat or importance so what in Hell are you arguing and why?

Why are you arguing positions i have not taken and strawmen? Has to be a reason?

It probably doesn't need to be said but you and i know that the above statement by you is a bold-faced lie.

In the aftermath of Charlottesville Trump said there were good people on both sides. Media went hysterical and spread the propaganda that he was calling white supremacists good people. They demanded he apologise for this strawman. He refused. They then tried a different tact and asked whether he condemned racists, white supremacists and neo-nazis and he did absoluteabsolutely. The press then assessed that he took too long in doing so.

So you lied.

The question is why did you lie about this AND why did you make strawmen for me to defend rather than anything i said?

It strikes me as strange you would have such investment in an internet disagreement that you would blatantly lie and misrepresent my positions in an intellectually dishonest attempt to strawman me, whilst i have ironically been stating the very same Progressive tactics.

So the question is....why do you do these things? (We have moved past whether you do) I am interested why you would have such investment in this that you would ignore truth, honesty, your on integrity and intellect to attempt to "win" or virtue signal? Especially if easily exposed as the effort in factless, reasonless dishonesty it is? Wanting to know what is in it for you?

Yes a particularly useful tactic when dealing with people with differing opinions is to ascribe positions they have not made with intent they do not have, denounce them on these false premises and then take the moral high ground in refusing to talk with them. It is a cowardly and dishonest way to stay safely in your own ideological bubble and marinate in your own ignorance.

That is of course if that is something you think is reasonable, rational and mature.

As for Rootilda saying every other post that I am blocked, She seems to read a Hell of a lot of what I say for her to have blocked me. She is struggling in her pretense here. The purpose in blocking someone is to stop seeing your posts. Clearly she is continuing to read me (if only to strawman my positions) and that suggests the only reasons she says she blocks me is to virtue signal.

She is an intellectual minnow.

Yes indeed she read the portion of my post for her to misrepresent my position. Why would she do that if the purpose of blocking me was to prevent her from reading me? Could she not help herself? Did she secretly yearn to know?

Its a great idea. Ideological echo chambers have no conflict, a lot of agreement, you get to virtue signal and be rewarded. Head pats and hair ruffles are the order of the day. You can predict how people respond. You know what sources you are allowed to respond to and what to dismiss and who to listen to and who not to. You don't need to worry too much about facts or truth if you know the narratives. Whatever the narrative becomes your new truth.
You lose the ability to think critically and willingly keep yourself ignorant but it is a small price to pay for head pays, hair ruffles and people agreeing with your every pronouncement.

I would say the black supremecy groups-unless they are linked with ISIS are probably a fringe group. But I don't know enough about them to comment about them. I saw a little of them on the cov cath incident videos and I've seen a little of their stuff before.

Why can't a person just say that "White supremacy is a problem" without saying well blacks have supremist groups too!

My arguement is that I think the president could take a stronger stance against the white supremist attacks-hell add in all attacks-but really my complaint is that he fails to denounce them strongly enough.
Even Ivanka had stronger words of support for Muslims here and abroad who are facing fear and sadness during this time. Yes Trump says "Its a horrible thing, tragic" whatever. But he doesn't do a good enough job of saying how bad white supremacy is.
That is my complaint.

White Supremacist groups are fringe too.
Again none of this is to say that they are of no importance. He denounced them in no uncertain terms after the Charlottesville incident and left no uncertain terms as to how he felt. He DOESN'T have to keep denouncing them every ten seconds.

He said it was tragic. I think it was too.

If you look above at posts of mine i never disagreed that White Supremacists are bad. I think that, you think that, President Trump thinks that and so do most reasonable people. Few disagree. Maybe 0.0001% of America because they are a fringe group

I believe racism in the US has not increased since the 60's but I do believe the media want's people to believe it. I just do not see it. I see people not being responsible for their own actions and others trying to blame racism on their own mistakes but racism in itself has not "increased" The media sure likes to stoke the fire though and idiots following the talking heads like children eating candy.
