I'm about to be on the news for murdering my child in a fit of rage.

RE: RE: the 2016 trivial drivel thread - Duchess - 06-30-2016

What did he do? I'm assuming it's the youngest one.

RE: RE: the 2016 trivial drivel thread - Duchess - 07-01-2016

Traffic is a serious bitch this morning.

I'd like to go to Denali National Park but knowing I could be killed by a grizzly while hiking takes all the fun away.

RE: RE: the 2016 trivial drivel thread - Donovan - 07-02-2016

That might be the one place I'd be ok with people carrying assault rifles lol

The father of the little boy killed by a gator at Disney told the fire chief that 2 gators were involved in the attack. He said the 2nd gator attacked him as he was trying to save his son :(

RE: RE: the 2016 trivial drivel thread - Maggot - 07-07-2016

My sister said gators like to shove their kill under a log for a midnight snack later.

They do, it softens up the meat and makes it easier to tear apart. Gators and crocs can't chew, their jaws are literally designed to do nothing but slam shut, clamp and hold. So they grab the prey and immediately do a death roll to stun and drown it, then either violently shake it apart into gulpable chunks or more commonly, jam it into a watery wedge and let it sit a little.

That sounds like my ex wife at the Thanksgiving table.

Children need to earn their keep. hah Those are great.

Heh-heh.

I wonder if I could give up my iPhone. I fucking hate when someone sends me a text and if I haven't responded within a couple hours I get another text..."hello"? WTF? I was busy, I was driving, maybe I didn't want to respond to you today. Maybe I don't have an answer at this moment. Either way LEAVE ME ALONE! I will get back to you when I'm good and ready without your snarky little "hello's?". Or maybe I won't. Maybe I should just respond with "goodbye?" and let them think what they want.

Yep pisses me off too! A few days ago I was driving, and I get a text, of course I didn't reply, I was driving. With in the 15 minute drive, I got 4 more texts. I didn't reply.
Come to find out, what was so damn pressing was my friend wanted to know if I wanted to go fishing on his friend's new boat! hah

RE: RE: the 2016 trivial drivel thread - Maggot - 07-10-2016

I think I've texted once last year some time.

RE: RE: the 2016 trivial drivel thread - Donovan - 07-10-2016

I don't like people who blow up my phone, looking for instant response. However, I think depending on the nature of the text and whether it's something that needs an answer, I get mad as hell when I know somebody is deliberately ignoring me. Common courtesy indicates at least a busy: talk later reply, and I always make sure my contacts know I drive a lot and can't always respond right away. Just ignoring someone is rude and self-absorbed. I try to assume that just because I don't think an answer is pressing, others might be holding up a lot of plans waiting for my response.

RE: RE: the 2016 trivial drivel thread - Duchess - 07-10-2016

Another weekend shot in the ass. Wah.

RE: RE: the 2016 trivial drivel thread - Carsman - 07-11-2016

Head's up, vegetarians and vegans: There's natural beef flavor in those fries!

In the news today, it was said Micky D's fries are cooked in oil containing beef flavor additive! Bummer! hah

I think I saw that news a while back. Is McDonald's even still relevant? Most of ours shuttered their doors long ago.

In NE, MO, and down south, they are abundant.
