American idiot stuffs his face - Cynical Ninja - 07-05-2013
A US man has devoured 69 hot dogs, beating his own world record at an annual 4 july competition at Coney Island in New York.
Joey “jaws” Chestnut ate the sausages with buns in 10 minutes breaking his old record of 68 and winning the world title for the seventh year in a row.
In the womens contest, Sonya Thomas kept her title with nearly 37 sausages.
The first such hot dog eating contest was held in 1916 when the winner ate just 13 hot dogs.

Tasteless, obnoxious, retarded and stomach churning.
You ever seen that show Man vs Food? I don't mind the challenges where he has to eat hot and spicy stuff but the challenges where he has to stuff his fat wop/kike face sicken me.
He ate over 200 oysters in under an hour in one episode which is just disgusting.

No, I haven't, I've never even heard of it but that doesn't mean anything, there are many shows I've never heard of. I don't think I'd like it, I find the act of face stuffing revolting...unless it's porn.

The episodes where he eats hot stuff are quite funny because its the heat of the food he is battling not the amount. Seeing him sweating and in tears while eating some of the worlds hottest dishes is quite amusing.
When he stuffs his face trying to eat to as much as 6 or 7 pounds of food in one sitting its puke making though. When you think of all the millions of people in the world that go to bed at night still hungry its actually quite nauseating.

Whats funny is that the winners are not obese at all. The womens champ weighs in at a whopping 98lbs. And for the mens side, $10k first prize...that works out to $1k/minute for stuffing your pie hole, not bad at all. It's a 98 year old tradition/contest. I really don't see the big deal.
I'm more disgusted by the morbidly obese people that continue to overeat.

I don't think the contestants are idiots for competing in an eating contest; a tradition that goes back almost 100 years.
All in good fun; it's as American as apple pie.
I love the Stephen King novella and the film, Stand By Me. WARNING!!! Don't read the story or watch the film, CN!. It contains a pie eating contest and subsequent barf-o-rama. It could really offend your sensibilities.

Nauseating, disgusting, puke making, face cramming the film I saw of him winning the competition made me want to barf, there's bit where he sort of struggles and starts to gag a bit at that point I thought to myself why would an intelligent human being find this in any way entertaining?
It hasn't caught on here and I hope it never does. In this country being able to eat 69 hot dogs in 10 minutes is a bad thing never a good thing to be rewarded.
By the way the recipe for apple pie was first mentioned in a 15th century English cookbook.

I'm not easily disgusted or grossed out and, as long as they're not hurting anybody else, I don't care what people do to get their kicks or make a buck.

I watch Right This Minute (videos of the day) often when I'm at the gym. They sometimes show videos of people eating the grossest stuff (and nobody's paying them as far as I know). Giant cockroaches, curdled milk, blah, blah. I change the channel. It's disgusting. I don't care about this guy eating the hot dogs but I wouldn't want to watch it.
