Yes. He is still alive but Zsa Zsa isn't. She passed at 99.

RE: The Death List - Duchess - 12-18-2016

I'm sorry to read that. RIP

I wanted her to outlive her golddiggin' prince.

RE: The Death List - HairOfTheDog - 12-18-2016

RIP Zsa Zsa. I really liked that crazy bitch.

RE: The Death List - Clang McFly - 12-18-2016

RIP, Dahling.

RE: The Death List - HairOfTheDog - 12-25-2016

Didn't see this one coming. George Michael passed away peacefully at his home in London today.

He was 53. No other details yet.

I didn't like his band Wham! much, but really liked his solo stuff.

He was all over MTV when it was still a music video channel and had so many top hits and sexy videos back then.

RIP.

RE: The Death List - ZEROSPHERES - 12-25-2016

He certainly wasn't aging well.
A heart attack at 53?
I think there are other contributing factors.

RE: The Death List - HairOfTheDog - 12-25-2016

Unlike a lot of celebrities, George Michael didn't seem to get into the plastic surgery cycle.

I think he looks like a normal 53-year-old man, Zero, which is definitely different than how he looked in his youthful heyday.

Anyway, I hope it wasn't prescription drugs again, but bet it was.

RE: The Death List - sally - 12-26-2016

Maybe aids combined with pneumonia?

This one got me in the feels...I loved him with every fiber of my being back in the 80's. hah 21

I thought he was hot too and used to watch MTV waiting for this one.

He wrote songs that were so painful for him.

Go back and listen to any lyric from any of his hits, and if you realize he's a gay man that can't be true to himself it all makes sense.

Clearly the subjects in his songs were men, and he was heartbroken.

How about One More Try for example?

A great talent.

RIP.

RE: The Death List - HairOfTheDog - 12-26-2016

Just listened to it, MS.

Beautiful but painful lyrics and vocals -- I see what you mean.

RE: The Death List - ZEROSPHERES - 12-26-2016

IMO George Michael was reckless and jeopardized himself and others with his conduct. He was the biggest factor in his untimely death at 53 years.

[Image: article-2385408-1B2C84C4000005DC-285_634x414.jpg]

2013: Paramedics treat George on the M1 after he fell out of his car onto the third lane of the carriageway at around 70mph near St Albans, Hertfordshire

The source said: 'George is enjoying life, a few scratches but he's glad to be alive.'

George, who has enjoyed a successful solo career since finding fame in the 1980s duo Wham!, was close to death only 18 months ago after being struck down with pneumonia in Vienna.

He is currently banned from driving. Three years ago he was jailed for eight weeks for crashing a Range Rover into a shop in North London while under the influence of drugs.

He was also disqualified from driving for five years, having served a two-year ban imposed in 2006 when he was convicted of driving while on drugs after being found slumped in his Mercedes.

I wasn't a big fan of his but I loved this song.

RE: The Death List - Maggot - 12-26-2016

Another fine example of death by fame.

RE: The Death List - HairOfTheDog - 12-26-2016

More people died of prescription drug and heroin overdoses this year than died in car accidents; huge problem in the US and England. And, very few of them were famous.

The coroner said no foul play suspected in George Michael's death, and his family said he died peacefully.

He didn't look ill to me in the recent photos, so I'm betting he accidentally overdosed (or maybe committed suicide).

2016 sure has seen a lot of musical losses -- Keith Emerson, David Bowie, Prince, Greg Lake, Leon Russell, George Michael...
