My dream job would be to work in the nursey of a zoo...I don't want to have to deal with anything sad like sick & dying baby animals, I just want to nurture and help raise them until they are old enough to become part of the zoo's attractions...Do you have a dream job in mind ?

I'm doing it... PC Repair & Custom PC/Server building. For $40,000~ I can build a super computer. Want one?

- LuMPyPussy - 03-27-2009

Duchess, I like your dream job, I could even cope with the staring crowds if I could spend time with the babies.

Or... a library or bookstore, minus the customers.

- sally - 03-27-2009

I would like to be Anthony Bourdaine's side kick in the show No Reservations.

- The Antagonist - 03-27-2009

Duchess, that is a job you don't want. I've been behind the scenes in zoos and it's not always pretty, even in the 'nursery'.

I like your dream job LMPP... I've always wanted my own book store. But since the inception of the giant stores like Borders and Barnes and Noble, mom and pop shops are gone from here now.

I would love to own and operate a breeding farm for horses again. That's my dream job.

Yes, some of those places he visits are ridden with germs and disease.

I would want to own a book store. A big giant book store. Of course I would never make any money because I would want to keep all the books for myself.

Oh. How original. What the fuck? Is everyone here into bookstores? And all of you say you'd want to keep the books. Why not say librarian of my own private collection instead?

I myself own quite an extensive library. I've probably invested more in book shelves than all my other furniture combined.

I love books. I have always loved books. I have always loved to read. I don't give a flying fuck what everyone else likes.

Reading, like music, is good for the soul, the mind, and many other things as well.

I love music as well and have it on most of the time. I even have a radio at my desk at work. I cannot sit there all day with silence. Music is a great motivator. I rail it at home when I am cleaning, working in the yard, cooking dinner. My kids actually tell ME to turn it down. LOL

I'm like that too. I take my MP3 player to work with me, because even if they have music at work it isn't stuff I like. I'm a rocker. Classic Rock, Metal, Indy, Alternative.... But I do also like Jazz, Classical (I miss Pavarotti), some oldies... really every genre except RAP has SOMETHING I like. But I mostly need rock.

I am a total rocker. Love Godsmack, Distrubed, Nickelback, Drowning Pool - all those types of bandds. But I love dance music too. The old stuff though.

No you bitch :p

Just because the only other furniture I own is a computer desk, a writing desk, a TV stand, a video game cart (really a second TV stand with multiple shelves below, and its got all my systems on it), and a bed :p

- Sinister - 03-28-2009

Bookstore Schmookstore. I do own a bookstore in my own home! ::lmao::

Nope, my dream job is to own a boarding kennel for dogs and cats, with a small, elite side business as a breeder of one breed of dog. I'm thinking of breeding bull terriers, but haven't decided for sure that's the breed I want.

A nice piece of land out in the middle of nowhere to build the kennels; indoor/outdoor runs, exercise yards, a track for the runners to run on. Yeah...that's my dream job.

- Cynical Ninja - 03-28-2009

I am going to start retraining this September for one of my dream jobs, as a social worker. I think a job helping vulnerable people will be fulfilling and worthwhile.

Other than if we are thinking out of the box, a film director or the dictator of a small country.

I gotta say, I think you would do exceedingly well at this job. ::lmao:: ::thumbs::

Opie as a social worker. Scary. And who DOESN'T want to be a dictator? Smiley_emoticons_biggrin
