It sounds like the shooting went down inside the Conference Center at the Inland Regional Center. Three suspects with body armor, long guns, and a dark SUV -- according to latest accounts.
The Conference Center was rented out for a banquet attended by county health officials.
At this time, it doesn't appear that any of the staff or disabled children and adults serviced at the center were targeted.

Manhunt underway for three suspects in a black Yukon SUV. LE needs to find and stop these guys asap, obviously. But, I hope we don't see officers shooting indiscriminately at dark SUVs.
The shooting of civilian vehicles during the Christopher Dorner manhunt was a dangerous mess; hate to see that shit happen again.

It is weird.
I just read that of all the mass shootings since 2000, only two involved more than one shooter.
CNN is confirming that one suspect was shot dead in the black SUV in a neighborhood near the mass shooting site. One suspect is in custody. And, another potential suspect is on the run.
I'm very glad that one suspect is reportedly alive and in custody. I hope that's true. If so, hopefully, he or she will wanna brag and quickly shed some light on motive and whether there are more people involved in the planning or execution of this mass murder.

One dead male suspect. One dead female suspect. One person in custody; may or may not have been involved in the shootings.
Police and FBI are not speculating publicly on motive yet.
It's been reported that pipe bombs were tossed out of the fleeing SUV before the two suspects were killed.
The police spokesman just confirmed that there was an altercation at the holiday banquet party and someone left the party disgruntled. He said police do not know yet if the person who left the party was involved in the shootings.

Two law enforcement sources identified one of the deceased suspects as Syed Farook ^, an American citizen. (HOTD edit 12/3: updated photo to latest news release)
Public records show a person named Syed R. Farook was employed by the San Bernardino County Health department as an environmental health specialist, but it was not clear if that was the same person involved in the shooting.

I'm really trying not to and just going with what the people that live around them and what the co=workers are saying. The media from both camps will be twisting this like crazy until the facts come out later.
