RE: NFL 2014 - Midwest Spy - 05-24-2014

^ who's the o-coordinator in Tampa?

Lovie Smith and Leslie Frazier are not offensive geniuses.

I do like Martin however. He's got some skillz.

Such a purty mouth..

We hear that every year.... Go Pack, Go!

I hope BG is on to something.

However, as long as Rodgers can play a full season, the Pack should win at least 10 games.

RE: NFL 2014 - Duchess - 05-24-2014

I'm sick of Aaron Rodgers & it's only a matter of time before I'm sick of hearing about Russell Wilson.

...but I could talk all day about Nick Foles.

Sadly, in a few ways, I think you're right.

Was talking smack to a cowboys fan today about their #1 draft pick taking Sean Lee out for the season by making contact during a no contact drill and he said, "TBH, I don't even know the names of the Eagles linebackers so that shows you how relevant they are." I said well... There's this guy: Enjoy Duchess. Blowing-kisses

Had to Google that shit. Jeff Tedford.....can't say I'm familiar at all, but from what I read, has a pretty good resume with Oregon and Cal.

Cowboys 1st round pick ended up being our best pick.

RE: NFL 2014 - Duchess - 05-29-2014

Cowboys aren't exactly getting off to a great start. I'm not going to say anything snarky about Sean Lee. I'm afraid it would come back to bite me in the ass.

They're cowballs fans. All bets are off. hah

Have you heard about a couple of contraptions that Coach Kelly has on the field this year? It's my understanding that one of the things being used is something designed to keep Shady (and the others who share his position), running low. It looks like an upside down U. hah I love Chip Kelly.

I hadn't heard until now, but Kelly is all about sports science so really, nothing would surprise me. Any coach who can get a team turned around and make the playoffs in his first year after inheriting a team that just came off a truely dismal season prior is awesome.

RE: NFL 2014 - Duchess - 06-03-2014

I just read a sports reporter saying Tom Brady is no longer a top 5 QB. Bitch please.

RE: NFL 2014 - Cutz - 06-03-2014

Well, I'd say Peyton and Rodgers are better. Beyond that it's a stretch. Brees and Brady are fairly even to me. Luck might be competing for one of those spots soon. Foles has a chance to be the NEXT Brady, 2-3 years down the road. Wilson is decent, but Seattle didn't win because of QB play. Matt Ryan didn't prove much last season. Cutler and Flacco are garbage. Stafford and Bradford haven't become what people said they would. Romo is a Choke artist and Eli might be beyond his best, neither as good as Brady.

RE: NFL 2014 - Midwest Spy - 06-03-2014

^ Not a bad post.

Don't underestimate Russell Wilson.

A healthy RGIII had a chance to be pretty special.

Other than that, Brady HAS to still be in the Top 5.

That's a reporter trying to be noticed.

I think Wilson's best is yet to come and Agree with ^ about Foles. If Rodgers can spend less time on his ass this year he could hold a torch to Brady. Peyton's a freak, but, yeah, who the fuck are the five he's putting in front of Brady?

That's the linchpin of every mobile QB. 5 years ago you could be saying, "A healthy Mike Vick has a chance to be special" and nobody would disagree. Personally I think Colin Kaepernick has proven more than RG3 to this point, but neither is close to as proven as Brady.

I put Peyton ahead just because he does more from the QB position. If you hire P. Manning, you can basically fire your offensive coordinator. Peyton just makes defenses look stupid at the LOS.
Aaron Rodgers gets the nod for me for accuracy and awareness. I've seen too impressive back-shoulder throws to say he's not the best from a ball-placement perspective. When you put a ball literally where only your receiver can get it, you make your offense very hard to counter.

He's made some really bad fashion choices lately. That will take you out of the top 5 in certain circles. Clearly this reporter frequents the "whats up" section of NFL message boards. If I had to guess Id say his screen name is Hoagie. hah

RE: NFL 2014 - Duchess - 06-04-2014

Colin Kaepernick has had his contract extended, it's worth up to $160 million with $60 million of that guaranteed. Yowza.

RE: NFL 2014 - Cutz - 06-05-2014

From what I read the base salary is only about 19M per year, which would put him 6th best paid behind Peyton. That's about right, makes sense to me. 60 Million is still a lot of guaranteed tho.
