I almost didn't recognize Tiger Woods when I first saw the mug shot. He was arrested for DUI in Jupiter, Florida this morning and has since bailed out.
Woods was never charged back in 2009 when he was reportedly intoxicated and ran into a tree after fighting with his wife, which led to the serial cheating scandal getting massive media attention.
He hasn't played in major tournaments in two years due to a back injury, but recently underwent fusion surgery and said he was feeling better than he has in years.

The LEO's found Tiger sleeping in his car, not diving. They actually had to wake him up.
Seems like they arrested him because he drove a distance DUI, and he realized he needed to pull over and get some sleep?
They didn't arrest him while he was DUI, he was sleeping at the time.
Should they have given him a pass?

Man, Tiger was passed out behind the wheel on the side of the road with the car running, his brake lights illuminated, and his right blinker on. Reports say he was slurring and kind of incoherent, but cooperative.
He's since issued a full public apology to his family, friends and fans and says he didn't realize how strong the mix of his prescription drugs could be. He obviously doesn't owe me an apology, but I think it's good he's taking full responsibility on this one.
Not sure I'm buying the ignorance defense though. He's had four back surgeries in three years. I won't be surprised if it turns out he's developed an addiction to pain pills, like millions of other people.
Anyway, I'm glad he didn't hurt himself or anyone else. And, he absolutely does not deserve a pass, in my opinion. This is terrible for him right now, but might be the wake up call that prevents something worse from happening in the future.

It was just said on the news, Tiger wasn't pulled over to the side of the road as was initially inferred, he was asleep behind the wheel of his banged up car, in the right hand lane of a street!

I agree, he doesn't owe me anything, he lives in a different universe than I do so nothing he does affects me in the slightest. I don't buy the ignorance thing either, after 4 surgeries he KNOWS what his pain meds do. I really think he is hooked and needs to get some help with that
