The past couple days I've seen a few stories about the sign language interpreter Gov. Scott used in Florida during Irma was signing gibberish and stuff about monsters, pizza and hugs.

This shit is fucking sad and depressing. So many displaced people and too many fatalities. Plus........it's economically devastating when the people in the affected areas are put out out of work because the islands' critical tourist industry is rendered kaput in the foreseeable future. Yeah, there will be more work in reconstruction and such, but much more of the population is negatively impacted economically and otherwise. :(
