RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - Clang McFly - 05-02-2017

Yes I LOVE Brussel sprouts.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - sally - 05-02-2017

Love me some brussel sprouts.

That's not how I really talk, it just sounded good. I like them roasted or steamed and topped with sour cream or hollandaise sauce. If I'm being healthy I like them steamed with a squeeze of lemon.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - Clang McFly - 05-02-2017

I love Brussel sprouts just steamed with a dash or two of salt and pepper. I've never had them with any sauce.

Have any of you ever had a Krispy Kreme donut?

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - BigMark - 05-25-2017

Yes, fresh from the oven. Yum yummy for the tum tummy!

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - sally - 05-25-2017

There is a Krispy Kreme in Daytona and it's always packed. They turn on the red light when they're fresh out of the oven. It's been there as long as I can remember, but I've never went there. It's kind of out of my way and I'm not one to go out of my way for a doughnut. I've had the Krispy Kreme ones they sell at the grocery store though.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - Clang McFly - 05-25-2017

Yeah, I too have had the Krispy Kreme donuts from the grocery store. They're like crack. Sugary sugary crack.

Apple cider doughnuts are yummy good right from the oven. I still remember eating them all the time when our family went to The Apple Barn in Vermont.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - Midwest Spy - 05-26-2017

Krispy Kreme came flying in to our market 15 years ago or so, they were huge, and less than 2 years later Krispy Kreme was no more.

But, who doesn't love a glazed donut?

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - BigMark - 05-26-2017

Another chain I liked that closed here was pat n Oscars.

The Bavarian crème filled donuts and chocolate eclairs are good too.

Oh and bear claws! Ate a lot of those in college. GO POTSDAM BEARS!

Kinda freaky to know we went to college in neighboring towns.

Yep. Walt Disney was right. It's a small world after all.

The first couple times I went to Florida I did the touristy bullshit. I rode in the little boat at the Magic Kingdom and heard that song in person. Now it's in my head on a loop. Ugh.
