Oh. That is gross. I'd use dick cheese anyway. It's the tastier stinky cheese. 39

I got attacked on FB for saying Buckees sucks. Its a popular gas station originating in Texas and they have BBQ sandwiches and what not. They taste like shit. And then they have their famous buckee nuggets which taste like corn pops cereal. There is nothing spectacular about them, I'd rather eat a box of cracker jacks.

Sally! Looooook! Homemade tator tots.

I'm aware that tator tots are probably a devil food, but I don't care. I think they are delicious.

All credit to Rose.

I love tater tots. I like them better than French fries actually.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - Maggot - 05-31-2022

How do you make them? With mashed potatoes?

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - MirahM - 05-31-2022

Yum! I want to see if I can make them with sweet potatoes then.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - BigMark - 05-31-2022

those look yummy, reminds me of hash brown breakfast cups.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - Duchess - 06-01-2022

When I saw them yesterday I was so hungry I was nearly drooling. They look just as good today.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - sally - 06-01-2022

Do you have a Bojangles near you? I here there tater tots are the best, but I'd have to drive for an hour.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - Duchess - 06-01-2022

No, I just checked after reading your post. There isn't a single one in my state.

They seem more like shredded potatoes, kinda like what Mark described up there. ^^^^^

I don't know how to make them. I'll see if I can find a good recipe for you.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - Duchess - 06-01-2022

Here's a recipe and it seems simple. I had looked at another one first but she called for oregano & dill. Fuck that. Nonono.

I was thinking cheese grater thing but didn't think you had to soften the potatoes.

I would skip that step. I think shredding soft potatoes would be an issue.
