My house mate and his buddies went fishing tonight. I just watched them clean the fish. Some sort of trout.

These were my new favorite snack. I've been eating these puppies nearly everyday and today after I popped a handful into my mouth I stood there and read the packaging where I saw SUGAR! Grams & grams of sugar. You bastards!

And artificial ingredients, too. They've got all the bases covered.

Even organic juices are contaminated with pesticides and forever chemicals. Not something you want to have with great frequency. And eating fruits is far healthier. Juice has tons of sugar without adding glucose.

I've been eating canned pineaaple instead of chocolate.

I like eating some fresh fruit with a small handful of walnuts for a snack.

Dear immortals, I need some wow gold inspiration to create.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - Duchess - 10-18-2023

I'm thinking about making bean soup this weekend and I'll fake homemade bread by getting some of those frozen loaves you let rise.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - MirahM - 10-18-2023

I want some crepes.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - Duchess - 11-22-2023

Just for future reference--don't ask older people about recipes or measurements. Measurements are not in their vocabulary, they say shit like "you'll know how much to use". How? How will I know? *face palm*

Send help.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - BigMark - 11-22-2023

Do the crepes match the sherbet?

The person whose house I live in is  sort of a food snob. She says, "I never follow recipes"
It shows, I brought up my own measuring cups and spoons, the ones she had were so old I couldn't read what they were, and I mean I can guess and look and I can sort of tell, but I got tired of doing that.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - BigMark - 11-22-2023

I think a recipe channel for beginner cooks like college students that uses bottle caps and other stuff as measuring devices would be really cool.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - MirahM - 11-22-2023

Go for it

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - Duchess - 11-23-2023

Now you know...

Not at my table.

RE: FOOD FOR THOUGHT - Duchess - 11-23-2023

Agreed. It's rude and I don't think I'd be able to keep a snide response to myself.
