RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Maggot - 03-12-2018 Listen if Obama can visit a dictator then Trump can. Although he won't be cheered on by the media the way Obama was he'll still go. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 03-12-2018 I'm not saying there won't be a meeting, I'm saying trump will not enter North Korea. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Blindgreed1 - 03-12-2018 (03-12-2018, 01:04 PM)Maggot Wrote: Trump is going to California and I bet he has more security going there than when he goes to North Korea.Don't be ridiculous Maggs, California is a liberal state. Pelosi lives there so clearly guns are not a problem there and thus added security will not be required. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Carsman - 03-12-2018 . "If" the meeting does come to pass between the "two hot heads", (no matter where it occurs) it may/will likely go either one of two ways: Complete Success or Complete Disaster No in between compromise! Hope I'm wrong, and at least a compromise can be accomplished! RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 03-12-2018 Kim Jong-un will not give up his ballistic missile program. I'm firm in that belief. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Midwest Spy - 03-12-2018 I’ve been to Barking Sands Pacific Missile Range Facility on Kauai (we’ll not actually INSIDE, but pulled up to the gate). That’s the country’s first line of defense now in the event Kim Jung decides to launch. I hope Trump is able to Star this guy down and get him to give up nuclear ambitions. I believe he thinks they are the only thing standing between him and being assassinated. I've seen it said that he fears Gaddafi's fate. If this meeting comes to pass he will have really achieved something. He will be meeting, as an equal, the President of the United States of America. He will be participating in a summit and that legitimizes him. I don't think this meeting is going to happen but I'll be back to eat crow in front of y'all if I'm wrong. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - HairOfTheDog - 03-13-2018 Rex Tillerson wanted the U.S. to stay in the Paris Climate Accord. He also did not support backing out of the Iran Nuclear Deal. He disagreed with Trump on several other international policy fronts as well. Plus, he reportedly called Trump a 'fucking moron', which was leaked to the press. Trump just fired Secretary of State Tillerson. He is nominating CIA Director Mike Pompeo to fill the role. Pompeo is a hardline Tea Party Republican who has developed a closer relationship with the president and supports Trump's campaign rhetoric and proposals. As an aside, the new deputy director of the CIA, Gina Haspel, oversaw the torture of people and later took part in destroying video evidence of the torture. It would be nice to have a woman in charge of the CIA for the first time, if she's the best qualified. I think Haspel will probably have a harder time getting senate confirmation due that torture scandal than will Pompeo. So this morning, trump's long time personal aide aide was fired and escorted out of the WH without even being allowed to get his jacket. It's being reported that he is under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security. He was immediately hired by trump to work on his 2020 campaign. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Donovan - 03-13-2018 It's very hard to feel sorry for any of these people, they're all pretty awful. Tillerson was a big oil guy and horrible at his job. Unfortunately Pompeo is worse. Slippery slope just got a bit steeper. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - BigMark - 03-13-2018 I liked Tillerson he seemed like a smart genuine guy, he will do well whatever he decides to do. It was Monday night rather than Tuesday morning. So the guy works for months & months without security clearance and suddenly it's imperative that he leave the premises immediately, no time to get his coat and other belongings, he needs to be gone now? What's up with that? RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - SIXFOOTERsez - 03-14-2018 It takes away something for the demtards to scream about, We walked his unsecured ass right out soon as we knew about it RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - HairOfTheDog - 03-14-2018 (03-14-2018, 04:45 AM)Duchess Wrote:(03-13-2018, 04:50 PM)Duchess Wrote: So this morning, trump's long time personal aide aide was fired and escorted out of the WH without even being allowed to get his jacket. It's being reported that he is under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security. He was immediately hired by trump to work on his 2020 campaign. He had a security clearance, but it was revoked based on an investigation into serious financial crimes, according to the latest reports. Apparently, McEntee, a former University of Connecticut football player and bodyguard, has a serious gambling problem. If that's accurate -- and it sure would explain a sudden firing -- McEntee is not someone any intelligent Republican, Democrat or Independent would want having access to classified information and being privy to presidential communications. In addition, considering the massive financial fraud allegations against indicted former Trump aides, it would be very stupid for the White House staff not to get rid of the guy.
