His complete shittiness always overrides any good he might do. Biggest douchebag ever.

Agreed.

Yeah, he did.  And, he said he didn't make fun of Ford at the Mississippi rally, despite the fact that we all watched him do just that.

Trump also said the idea that he would ask Russia for help in the election was ridiculous, despite the fact that we all watched him beckon Russia to find Hillary's emails.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Maggot - 10-15-2018

He asked the wrong country he should have asked the Chinese.

Was any of this NOT true?

"I had one beer. Well, do you think it was -- nope, it was one beer," Trump said, mimicking Ford's testimony last week to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

"How did you get home? I don't remember. How'd you get there? I don't remember. Where is the place? I don't remember. How many years ago was it? I don't know."

Trump's comments were met with laughter and applause from the crowd.
"I don't know. I don't know," the President continued. "What neighborhood was it in? I don't know. Where's the house? I don't know. Upstairs, downstairs -- where was it? I don't know -- but I had one beer. That's the only thing I remember."

So you're defending his vile behavior. That doesn't reflect well on you.

You dope, I asked if what he said was true. Your lack of literary skills is apparent.

Both old farts with the same color hair, but hers looks so very much better!   hah

She was traumatised by a sexual assault at 15 by two much bigger boys and unsurprisingly, the only thing she remembers with clarity is the assault itself. Yet here you are, ingenuously asking if any of that was NOT true as if that fucking matters. And here's Trump whipping up a (paid) crowd, mocking her testimony. That is indeed vile behavior that you're trying to justify.

Yeah, someone's got comprehension difficulties and it ain't me.

You have proof of this? Excellent! See all this time I was under the impression that most of the people who made such assertive suggestions were purporting unproven allegations as fact. I know that you are that stupid though. To use this as a fact you have something more than her uncorroborated allegation that is unsupported in any way whatsoever.....right?

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Rootilda - 10-15-2018

Why would a respected scholar and researcher submit herself to death threats to herself and her family if it wasn't true?  If she were making it up, she wouldn't have admitted that there was much she didn't remember.

Keep in mind that "One in five women (in the US) and one in 71 men will be raped at some point in their lives".  Rape culture is alive and well.  https://www.nsvrc.org/statistics

And there's nothing I could say or link to that would convince you that a man you never ever heard of before his nomination for SCOTUS isn't a choirboy because you're some kind of fucking weirdo with a serious obsession about our conservative politics and you seem to think you've got your finger on the pulse of DC.

No wonder HotD ignores you most of the time, you're a fool with nothing worth saying.

Yup, yup, I will take that as a "No, Mr Fry Guy, I do not have any collaborating evidence and I am simply going by feelings and to try and sound pseudo-intellectual like my idol HoTD, I will post with statistics.

So doing the math your 1 in 5 seems a little bit like bullshit doesn't it? Don't get me wrong, actual rapists whether they be men or women or 17 year old kids should be thrown into a pit with some half-starved feral pigs.

As to why Ford lied? Political expediency? Mental illness? Fame? Go Fund me coin? Vindictiveness? I don't much care.

Watch her slip into the background just like Beverley Nelson and Jessica Leeds.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - HairOfTheDog - 10-16-2018

So, unsurprisingly, Stormy Daniels and Michael Avenatti lost their defamation case against Trump yesterday. The judge ruled that Trump's public statements were within the realm of free speech.

And, the judge ordered Daniels to pay Trump's attorney fees.

Since Daniels and Avenatti already succeeded in getting Cohen busted for his financial crimes and cornered Trump into admitting he was lying when he said he knew nothing about the pay-off to Daniels, I hope this sideshow goes away.

On a related note, it was reported yesterday that Cohen has spent over 50 hours with Mueller's investigators.

The Progressives who gave money hand over fist to "fight President Drumpf" will find their money going to pay Trump. Perfect!

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 10-23-2018

trump said that US Steele is opening 7 new plants. That's a lie, they aren't opening any new plants.

trump said there is rioting in California's sanctuary cities. That's a lie, there is no rioting in California.

trump said the arms deal with Saudia Arabia is creating 1 million jobs. That's a lie too.

LieLieLie. It's the one and only thing he does well.

One of the recent rally lies that really bothered me was regarding the Opioid Bill.

72,000 people in the U.S. died last year of Opioid overdoses.  That's so sadly insane and it's a shame our government (both parties) let the epidemic go for so long before taking action.

Earlier this month, our Congress finally did their job and passed bi-partisan legislation which funds and facilitates:  greater access to treatment, blockage of illegal mail order drugs, and research/development of non-addictive pain killer alternatives.

The legislation doesn't provide enough funding or address all of the issues, in my view.  But, it's a significant bi-partisan accomplishment and a good start.

The bi-partisan bill passed the House with a 396 to 14 vote (1 Dem and 13 Republicans voted 'no').  It then passed the Senate with a 99 to 1 vote (the 1 'no vote' was Republican).

It was a good opportunity for President Trump to tout a bi-partisan effort which benefits all citizens of the U.S.

But, he again chose to blatantly lie and misinform at one of his recent congressional campaign rallies.  He told his supporters that the Republicans passed an Opioid bill with little support from Democrats.  Pitiful.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Fry Guy - 10-24-2018

They probably didn't support him. They may have supported the bill.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Love Child - 10-27-2018

There is something about his constant appraisal of law enforcement during times of crisis that doesn't sit right with me. It is like he is praising them constantly and wanting their approval-but I feel he leaves out the citezens that are also working hard to get their town back in order after whatever happened.
Rudy Guiliani praised the fire fighters, law enforcement after 9-11 and he made some great statements then-I honestly feel like Trump is trying to follow in those footsteps and it doesn't feel sincere, and something feels off about it.

Please don't misunderstand me in this comment-there is nothing wrong with honoring or praising those that sacrifice their lives or put their lives on the line for us every day. That is not what I am saying at all-I am just saying that the way Trump does it-seems off.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 10-27-2018

There's no feeling in it. I often feel like he's faking it, it being emotion, any emotion.
