Off topic but here it is anyway. Tucker Carlson had a guest on so they could discuss the neutering of... gingerbread men. Apparently someone was complaining about a cookie being gendered and wanted it called a gingerbread person. So one of the stars at Fox figured that'd make a great segment on his show. EVERYONE IS STUPID.

Former prosecutor Judge Jeanine Pirro is among the biggest propagators of baseless conspiracy theory and rhetoric at FOX.
Her pieces are more comical than anything else, to me, at this point. She's worse than Rudy Giulianni when it comes to peddling bullshit.
I think a lot of FOX viewers expected Judge Sullivan to dismiss or challenge the prosecution's case against Flynn yesterday based on Pirro's recent piece asserting that Flynn was a victim of the FBI, along with her praise of Judge Sullivan as a straight shooter who chastises prosecutors when he thinks they've overreached.
As we know, that's exactly the opposite of what happened at Flynn's sentencing hearing.
Judge Sullivan has seen the evidence files and the redacted portions of sentencing recommendation memos. He made it quite clear that he thought the prosecutors had gone too lightly on Flynn, and he had Flynn and his attorney confirm in court that there was no trickery or set up involved.
Flynn lied, he knew he was lying, he has no defense for it, and he wants to maintain his guilty plea -- confirmed by both Flynn and his attorney (though still contested by Trump and his spokespeople).

I'm very disappointed to see Mattis go, but not surprised.
I didn't think Mattis was gonna be able to look the other way when President Trump ignored his expert advice regarding Syria, and prematurely declared ISIS defeated, and made a critical military/foreign policy announcement via Twitter (an announcement which took our elected representatives and our allies by surprise).
I wonder how other members of the Cabinet and Republican congress (aside from the Freedom Caucus) feel today as they watch President Trump dancing to the tunes of Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, and Laura Ingram whilst leaving his party's officials/representatives in the dark.
Now we wait and see if a government shutdown will be the cherry on top of this shit cake.
