They aren't part of the traditional republican party, you know, the ones that valued family and the law among many other things. They are just straight up the dregs of society. I was a registered Republican long ago, I thought Reagan was the best thing since sliced bread until all that Ollie North/Contra shit came out. Both parties had a lot of good ideas and they were able to work together. No more. I'm embarrassed to even admit my affiliation with the Rs now. And this blind devotion to Trump is the weirdest shit I've seen since Ted Cruz showed up on the political scene.

Not all, but almost everyone I love is a republican and except for one, none of them identify with this party. One of my brothers is on the trump train *spits* but other than him no one will associate themselves with this circus. This isn't the party they joined as young people and it's no longer a party they support.
