That was really great to read.  I think cyber warfare is a huge threat to our national security and I'm glad to see it being addressed very seriously and efficiently under the Trump administration.

Snip:

Cybersecurity industry leaders and former government officials are now heaping praise on the Trump administration’s digital security policies -- describing them as smart and measured.

In fact — from how the government protects its own networks and critical infrastructure to how it cooperates with allies — experts at the RSA conference said the best word to describe Trump cybersecurity policy is continuity.

Kiersten Todt, a former White House official, directed an Obama-era cybersecurity policy commission tasked with making recommendation to the next presidential administration. Two years later, she said, it’s striking how many of that commission’s recommendations — from addressing the threat of botnets to surging cooperation between government and the private sector — are being put into effect.

“Whatever your feelings about how other things are being managed in this administration, on the cybersecurity side we’ve seen significant and thoughtful progress,” Todt said.

Why would he do that if he was a Russian agent?

Perhaps I missed the memo where we were dropping that narrative?

I predict Trump will be re-elected. His constituents are faithful and dedicated.

Well at least the "get into college" thing will eclipse any goofy public scorn from him for a bit. He may even get a break over the next few weeks from all the dopes still crying because he won.  hah

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - HairOfTheDog - 03-14-2019

It looks like President Trump will be forced to use presidential veto powers for the first time since he took office if he wants to override Congress.  Several Republican senators are bucking Trump on two different matters.

--The Senate passed the Yemen resolution, which was a chance to denounce Trump’s lackluster response to Saudi Arabia‘s murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi by halting U.S. support for the Saudi-led war on Yemen, with seven GOP votes today.

--Tomorrow, an even larger number of Republican senators are expected to stand against Trump's proposal to declare an emergency at the U.S. / Mexico border in order to get more wall/security funding than Congress has allotted in the budget.

Cosmo wants Trump to be successful in keeping his campaign promise even if it means overriding Congress.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - HairOfTheDog - 03-14-2019

^ Cosmo looks really cute and presidential.

I think the Republicans who voted against Trump's emergency border declaration today were wise, and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the Republican lawmakers who stood behind Trump are grateful to the naysayers.

Declaring an emergency when there isn't one,  just to override Congress's budget authority, opens the door for other Presidents to declare emergencies whenever they can't convince Congress to give them what they want.  It dilutes the powers bestowed upon Congress in the Constitution.

I'm so stinkin' grateful I don't have all those thoughts in my head that some of you do. I'm very relieved I don't share your opinions. Thank you sweet baby Jesus.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - MirahM - 03-15-2019

Trump is a fucking asshole.
Said white supremecy is not a problem, in America or world wide. Okay-to be fucking exact for Fry Guy-he said something more along the lines of "It is not THAT BIG of a problem"
Listen-you want me to be exact? You ask the fucking president to be exact, he can't even get people's names right and then admit it, he has to blame someone else and is never responsible for anything but wants to take credit for anything good that happens.
The only thing Trump made great again was Twitter.
And even Twitter ain't all that great.

So sick of the defense of Trump. It is disgusting. His whole family is disgusting.

I have not seen him saying that, but let's take your word for that. If you add all of the terrorism caused deaths in the world and attributed them along lines of Muslim-based and white Supremacist and non-associated terrorism, would it be true that Muslim based Al Queda, Boko Harem and ISIS and the like would make up more than half of all deaths caused by terrorism. Though White Supremacy and White Supremacist attacks are a problem they are "Not THAT big of a problem".

They will get there though. What was very fringe is growing and the reason is the "Progressives" who have done their utmost to vilify the white male. They think it a morally defensible position to push identity politics that exclude people on the immutable characteristics such as gender or race then it only gives credibility for White Supremacists to pick up the marginalised and offer identity politics of their own. No one wins identity politics.

Trump has done okay www.magapill.com There is a lot there hard to dismiss all of that.

How is Donald Trump's whole family disgusting?

Islamic extremist killings ARE a big problem in the world.

Since 911 there has been less of that in the US.

In 2017 70% of mass shootings were at the hands of a white supremist. (just one stat)

Trump is quicker to denounce things like SNL or sports teams than he is these mass killers. Why is that?

White supremecy is growing because of the progressives? If the white male is being vilified, then what is the black male? The black woman? Women of any color?
The white male feels so threatened that he must become the #1 reason for mass shootings in America? Who is doing the identity politics now? Obvioiusly the white male is so concerned with the color of his own skin and gender-it is ridiculous that we care so much what color all of our skin is-and what skin will last in a couple years-a few years-10 years.

It is also ridiculous that news media still has a problem reporting when the shooter is a male and white. How many times have they had to correct themselves when they say "terrorist" to say a "Lone shooter" or some other word that isn't white supremist?
They are getting better-
but seriously please tell me how progressives have caused the white male to feel so "threatened" Threatened BY WHAT?

Don Trump Jr is a bully just like his father. Ivanka plays the victim card and Eric Trump is no different.

The question was asked to him by a reporter.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Fry Guy - 03-16-2019

Yes radical Islamic killings ARE a big problem in the world.

Yes women are not vilified and neither are people of colour. That is right. Be as upset as you would like to be but it is false equivalence to go there. Here is how it is, there is racism and that is individuals being racist to people of a different race. That exists in US and every other country in the world. Many places are a LOT less tolerant than the US. But it does exist.

However the Progressives have a significant social and cultural hold in US and other Western countries and pander to the Progressive Stack in addressing people collectively. According to the Progressive stack people are collectively categorised and graded b virtue of immutable characteristics. For example If you are White, you are considered "privileged" irrespective of your experience, position, background, heritage. Progressives will consider you less worthy by virtue of your privilege and power in society taking away a voice or benefit from someone else and to make it worse you are the race that conquered America and owned slaves and subdue and wiped out the Native Americans . It does not even matter if your ancestors were dirt poor immigrants who came over after America was colonised and never held slaves, you are still an oppressor because of the colour of your skin.

These kinds of narratives are part of the Progressive ethos and this Leftist agenda and drive is toxic. It is backed by selective reporting in media and it is unhealthy in the extreme. It is not limited to race of course, what genitals you possess, your nationality, your religion, your ethnicity, all of these things can be used to denigrate and polarise factions.

This is identity politics.

Progressives have a lot of sway in society. They are NOT the Liberals they are authoritarian and intolerant. The reason this is unhealthy is that it doesn't "give minorities a voice" it does precisely three things:
1. Like the casting the Bourgeoisie as the enemy by virtue of their class, Progressive stack does the same thing but with every aspect of one's identity
2. As we see with the Covington Kids who had the temerity to be Catholic, White and Male, they were afforded no quarter and railed against, not for what they did wrong (they did nothing wrong) but for who they were. They were high on the stack and so they had to be railed against and smeared.
3. Many people are not privileged or advantaged even if they are white and male and their struggles are just as real and just as onerous as someone who is a different gender or religion or skin colour and they are PRECISELY the kind of people who are likely to be drawn to groups who tell them that they do not need to apologise for breathing and that the people pushing this toxic ideological demonisation of them are the bad guys.

I am old-fashioned. I believe that there is nothing you can tell about someone by the colour of their skin or their genitals. You know nothing about what motivates them or drives them. What they love or hate. What their interests are. what their hopes and loves and dreams are. You learn that by getting to know them. You can't assess what their life is or is not or how moral or intelligent they are.

Progressives do that. So do the White Supremacists. In different directions obviously. Progressives have a big hold on society and white Supremacists don't. But Progressives will cause combative identity politics. It is already happening and what is fringe at the moment will not always be so.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Rootilda - 03-16-2019

It's the progressives' fault that white supremacists are killing innocent people attending church, movies, etc. Fuck you Fryguy. Fuck you up the ass with a chainsaw.

See, that's the reason I have that asshole blocked. He's got nothing worth reading.
