RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 06-02-2019

So...this morning Mick Mulvaney, the nitwit-in-chief's acting chief of staff said "that's not an unreasonable ask" to move the USS John McCain when trump was in Japan because of the way trump feels about McCain. There you have it. Defend that, bitches.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - BigMark - 06-02-2019

Yeah, very douchie move. He's king of the drama.

Probably misrepresentation and Fake news narrative spin. You do that a bit.
IF we can establish he said this
IF he said it is an not unreasonable ask to move it
IF it was about Trump not liking McCain
If it was the sole reason

Probably wasn't all of that. COULD have been, but I doubt it.

Probably what happened was someone asked something innocuous like "So could Trump ask that the USSS McCain get moved and some other carrier go where it was?" where "that's not an unreasonable ask" would be a fine answer BUT reporters could then say, "So if Trump wanted it moved (because he hates McCain) Mulvaney thinks it is perfectly fine. Okay I will quote Mulvaney and I have a narrative. Damn some real nitwits will not critique this at all"

The Navy & the WH both confirmed it and trump is still running around calling it fake news.

Looks like you spun out of context Liberal Mainstream talking points again. Mulvaney thinks that one of many low level people was concerned and trying to act in teh President's interests and that it is a bit of a nothing burger. It really is. They probably ought not have done it but so fucking what?

Chris  - During the President's trip to...actually before he went to Japan, the White House military office sent this email to the navy and I want to read it "USS John MCCain needs to be out of sight". Once the email went public here is the President's reaction

Donald Trump - "Somebody did it because they thought I did not like him okay? They were well-meaning, I will say, I didn't know anything about it. I would have never done that"

Chris - Two questions, I got about 30 seconds for you, What does the President mean by it was well-meaning? And second, as White House Chief of Staff determined how it was that someone in the white house decided it would be a good idea to hide the ship that is in honor of an American war hero.

Mulvaney - In the 15 seconds left I will give you 30, the President didn't know about this, I did not know about it. Literally hundreds of people are involved in moving the President overseas. His feelings on the senator are well known, the fact that a low-level person might have asked the question shouldn't surprise anybody. We think it is much ado about nothing.

Chris - Will someone in the White House be disciplined?

Mulvaney - For what? For asking an innocuous question about that? Does someone get disciplined at Fox News for saying that so-and-so doesn't want to sit next to so-and-so at a meeting? This is a minor issue and the media is trying to make into a larger matter.

Chris - Well let me say to pursue it, that the Pentagon chief Shanahan had his chief of staff call the White House to say that the pentagon must not be politicised, so apparently Patrick Shanahan doesn't think it is a minor idea.

Mulvaney - But again nothing happened because of it. If someone asked a question during the preparation for a trip, if you understood how many people were involve in this, understand the number of folks who could have asked the question and if a 23 or 24 year old says "look is it really a good idea for this ship to be in the background?" That is not an unreasonable question to have and it certainly is not something that is worth taking up 2 minutes of national television on Sunday

By the way from this, it is very clear that he thinks that it is not unreasonable for a low level person to think "look is it really a good idea for this ship to be in the background?". He thinks it is not unreasonable for them to think that and not worth 2 minutes worth of national news coverage over it. It does not mean that HE thinks that HE or the President would react that way or that it is uniformly fine BUT specifically that a low level white house staff involved in the travel arrangements may have thought about this. THAT is what he was saying but that is NOT what you just said. You said that HE thought it was fine. THAT is different.

Trump's also saying he never called Meghan Markle "nasty" even though there's a recording of him saying Meghan Markle is nasty. And his fans eat his bullshit with a spoon.

His re-election in 2020 will suck for you

Oh come on, after a reporter told him that she was saying mean spirited things about him, he replied by saying he didn't realize she was nasty. As in not realizing she was saying nasty things about him. Not calling her a nasty skank as the media portrayed. Plus who gives a fuck anyway, she was talking shit first.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Maggot - 06-02-2019

Trump always swings back, when he does everyone says "look what he just said"

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Rootilda - 06-02-2019

He can call her whatever the fuck he wants but he's a fucking liar when he says he didn't say it when there's a recording.

Jesus Christ, you people will defend him no matter how much of a piece of shit he is.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - sally - 06-02-2019

My point was he didn't call her nasty in the context you people are making it out to be.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Fry Guy - 06-03-2019

"She said nasty things about you"
"I didn't realize she was nasty"
"Oh she isn't she was on a viscious bender/suffers from Tourettes/had a gun to her head"
"Oh okay, that sounds fair then"

Vs

"She said nasty things about you"
"She is nasty. Just like crooked Hillary"

Which of these is saying she is nasty and which is simply opening oneself to a new possibility?

Honest people can answer honestly

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 06-03-2019

Roo, have you seen any of the interview that Kushner did with Jonathon Swan?

I hope that fucker ends up in the slammer just like his father did. He's as big a POS as trump is. Birds of a feather and all that.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Rootilda - 06-03-2019

Just the bit where he's asked about birtherism.  They should never allow him or Steven Miller to speak publicly, they're both cringingly bad at it.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 06-03-2019

That stupid sonofabitch couldn't even answer if he'd call the FBI if the Russians made contact again! WTF! This was after they had already been told by the FBI to contact them if the Russians made contact 3-4 years ago. After all the bullshit surrounding that he still could not give an answer. Whatta twat.

Steven Miller is a ghoul. I've seen that flake interviewed and you're exactly right, he shouldn't be doing them.

RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Fry Guy - 06-03-2019

Steven Miller is great.
Jarrod is an asshat
