The action in Sryia is disgusting. Him saying Turkey will pay is an empty threat- also what do they care? They get to kill the Kurds, have Isis released and maybe they will have to pay some $.

There was a pro-trump conference at a trump resort last week and a video was shown to those gathered there. It depicted trump as a mass shooter executing members of the media and his political opponents in a church. A video was taken of it being shown to the guests and it was sent to the NYT.

Really? Or is that perhaps misinformed bullshit.
Turkey was going to attack Syria over border disputes that were old before the Americans got there.
Trump could do either of three things:
1) Attack Turkey (a NATO partner) to defend the Kurds and you would have all whined that he was attacking fellow NATO members.
2) Attack Kurds and have you all cry that he is attacking the people who help wipe out ISIS with the US. (and as Turkey in a NATO member they would be obliged to offer military assistance.)
3) He can bring his soldiers home and let old rivals make whatever alliances and deals with whatever nations or people without America being the forever police
Within 24 hours Kurds have made a deal with Syria and Russia for military assistance and now they have new allies and Turkey is in check without Trump breaking promises.
Why was there none of this nuance or contextualisation

I read about that.
Donald Trump Jr was at that conference which was held at a Trump property, as was Sarah Sanders and Florida Governor Rick DeSantis. They all claim they didn't see the video.
The Trump advocacy group that hosted the conference (American Priority) admits the video was shown, but claims they don't know how that happened and they're investigating.
In any case, it's fucked up to be glorifying mass shootings (in a church or anywhere else), especially with the President of the United States depicted as the 'heroic' mass shooter, as part of a re-election effort. It says a whole lot about the mindset of the target audience, in my opinion.
Anyway, I wanted to see the video and judge the content for myself. It wasn't included in the NYT article. Pretty moronic stuff.
