On a British news channel tonight, an American commentator stated that America is now a banana republic. That the ruling government tells the cops or whoever what to do. What they got Trump for, documents, every American president has done the same thing, usually without knowing. Staff took them for whatever reason. Just saying like.

2016 I didn’t vote for Donald, I voted against Hillary. I hated her as much as you hate Donald.
2020 I didn’t vote for Donald, I voted for (I really didn’t want to, no other real choice) someone I
thought/hoped would be more humane and diplomatic. As it turned out, I now regret voting for
that semi senile old man.
2024, I pray that there will be more suitable qualified candidates.
If unfortunately it turns out to be Joey and Donald, I’m not voting.

I didn't vote in 2016 because I despised both of them. Voted Trump in 2020 because I knew he was the lesser of two evils. Fairly certain I'm done with voting at this point.

The reason politicians don't like Trump is because he is knocking over their apple cart. They have an easy life and 80% have never worked a day in the private sector. They are frozen in fear that they may lose their job if he keeps exposing their nasty self serving wants.
They also hate his base for backing him. What happened to Trump can happen to any American. Some people just don't get it and go blindly into space believing the government actually cares for them. They don't see it until it's to late, Brandon is a fine example.
