And indictments, allegations and alleged evidence mean nothing until presented, and argued before the judiciary and third-party, to determine if a crime was committed and the guilt of the party. All I know is: There's many a 'twixt between the cup and the lip. Kinda like impeached . . . but not removed from office. Let's not forget the appellate process to affirm or overturn a verdict, too. Looks like LA or DC . . . NOT Delaware (where the gun was found) . . . where he had no problem, as to Delaware's venue, when it appeared the now defunct plea deal, was a slam dunk. So, the question becomes why Delaware, as the venue (in the first place), is now, an inappropriate or improper venue? Looks like a personal or subject matter jurisdictional argument (explanation) is forthcoming . . . as to the need for one or both of the least often used venue challenges. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 08-12-2023 I hope you're able to find the answer/s you're looking for, Tiki. They'll see who has been interviewed and what was said in those interviews. trump will see who has flipped on him and there is no way, NO WAY in hell he will keep his mouth shut. Not a chance. I can hardly wait! RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - BigMark - 08-12-2023 RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - BlueTiki - 08-12-2023 (08-12-2023, 06:00 AM)Duchess Wrote: I hope you're able to find the answer/s you're looking for, Tiki. Doesn't affect my daily life or sanity where he is tried. Protect and ensure the defendant's rights and protect the integrity of judiciary. Just follow and apply the law(s). That's all I care about. I hope the American public factually understands why a change of venue is not only allowed and necessary, but appropriate, too. Yeah . . . it's an optics, thing. (Don't need to hear MSM and the talking heads spinning the difference between Trump and Hunter. Just apply the law(s). Simple.) And then there's the people who never bother to look for answers -- and can't for the life of them understand why anyone else would bother to. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 08-13-2023 It looks like trump will be indicted in Georgia this week. It's being reported that the DA is expected to seek charges against more than a dozen people. I don't think I knew there was a voting system breach in Georgia, or I knew it and it just got lost in the tsunami of daily bullshit. ...and just to remind everyone, all the witnesses in the indictments that we already know about, are republicans, trump's people. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - rothschild - 08-13-2023 I wonder how many of those witnesses have been granted immunity in exchange for their testimony, and what statutes these charges will be brought under. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 08-13-2023 I'd like to know that too. I'm looking forward to reading the indictment. It's said that the charges in Georgia lead straight to the top and involve a number of trump's lawyers. Take that for what it's worth, it's nothing more than supposition right now. I'm most interested in what is going on with Mark Meadows. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - rothschild - 08-13-2023 Lawfare is totally incompatible with democracy, which Democrats claim to be defending. All of the big cities in America are war zones, all the Democratic Party cares about is attacking Trump and sending money to Ukraine -- where most of it ends up in the pockets of corrupt officials, and weapons end up being sold on the black market -- all of which is also incompatible with democracy. I think a majority of Americans understand this and will vote for Trump regardless of the Democrats incessant attacks on him, and the Democrats have no one to blame but themselves. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - BigMark - 08-13-2023 Yeah those Javelins will end up in Mexico. I didn’t know this until today, but I read that Barack Obama’s brother is a Trump supporter and wears a hat that says fuck Biden. He also does not like Barack and said that he changed when he became president. It was an interesting story. The only thing that will make President Trump's eventual prison sentence sad is when we are forced to swear in Trump's Vice President/puppet/stooge and democracy truly dies....no really, we mean it, it's totally going to happen this time. I have a feeling Tucker Carlson is going to throw his hat in the ring, which would blow all the other corporate candidates out of the water. I'll vote for him if he does.
