Nothing I'm posting about has anything to do with Hillary Clinton. I'd have been happy with Kasich, Bernie, and maybe even JEB!
We've got Trump, I accept that and hope for the best. That doesn't mean objectively viewing the issues / strategies and commenting upon them honestly is "not getting over it" or a witch hunt or something. It's silly to imply that it does or that anyone is gonna dumb down and shut up to avoid having that bullshit thrown at them by Trump devotees.
When I start criticizing how Trump rides a bike, spazzing over how he uses an umbrella in the rain, holding him accountable for policies that happened long before he took office, accusing him of being a non-American Muslim, etc -- like you did with Obama -- then your comment might have some merit. Don't hold your breath for that, hombre.

One of the big complaints about the American Health Care Act (AHCA / 'Trumpcare') is that while it would benefit the young and the wealthy in terms of care access and affordability as compared to the Affordable Care Act (ACA/ 'Obamacare'), it is projected to increase the premiums for some senior and low income citizens by 750% or nearly $14,000.
That's according the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report and other financial analyses.
There are several analyses and write-ups that come to that same conclusion and outline the reasons. VOX did a good job of breaking it down.

Under Obamacare, insurers are generally only allowed to charge an older person about three times what they would charge a younger person — under the theory that older people are often sicker and therefore need to use more insurance. But under the Republican bill, the limit of three times would go up to five times, effectively letting insurers charge older people 66 percent more than they would under Obamacare.
Republicans argue this is necessary because it would also let insurers charge younger people less, which would encourage younger and generally healthier people to come into the insurance pool — and therefore bring down the overall cost of health care by making it so more younger, healthier people are effectively subsidizing everyone’s care.
The CBO found that’s broadly true. It would bring insurance premiums down in general, and it would cost young people less to get signed up for a health plan. But it would do all of that at a high cost for older Americans.

Americans 64 and older making $26,500 per year would see their premiums increase by an estimated 750 percent by 2026. While they are on track to pay $1,700 under the current Obamacare law, the CBO projects the American Health Care Act would force them to pay $14,600, or a whopping 60.6% of their incomes. It's fucking shameful.
Middle-aged lower-income individuals would see their premium increased from 6.4% to 9.1% of their incomes under the proposed AHCA, while 21-year-olds would see a reduction.
On the other hand, those making over $68,500 a year, in all age brackets, would see a reduction in premiums under the proposed AHCA.
So, the AHCA is a proposal that benefits insurance companies, young people, and wealthier Americans while it screws over the middle-aged and elderly lower income individuals. President Trump won the votes of a majority of those demographics and promised them something better for them than Obamacare. AHCA, as it stands, accomplishes the exact opposite.
President Trump and elected Republican officials would be fools if they continue trying to ram this shiite through Congress and label the consistent analyses "fake" or "inaccurate", in my opinion. Even the most ardent Trump supporters would desert him in droves if they work hard or struggle to make ends meet in retirement and wind up unable to afford healthcare because of him.
For those who want to see the Republicans lose seats in the 2018 mid-terms and Trump's 2020 re-election chances greatly diminished, I think seeing them push the AHCA in its current form would be their best chance.
