Either my fingertips or eyes had a crazy mind of their own last night OR a Trump supporter is messing with my posts! OASI, - brain talking to the fingers disconnect! I know he doesn't hide the guest book like the other guy did. The White House announced Friday that it would cut off public access to visitor logs revealing who is entering the White House complex and which officials they are meeting, breaking with the Obama administration’s practice and returning a cloak of secrecy over the basic day-to-day workings of the government. The decision — which White House officials said was necessary for reasons of national security — was the latest attempt by President Trump, who has promised to “drain the swamp” in Washington, to shield his activities from scrutiny. It effectively bars the public from knowing which activists, lobbyists, political donors and others are gaining access to the president and his aides on a daily basis. It also is a stark reversal from the policy adopted by President Barack Obama, who voluntarily released more than six million White House visitor records, even as his administration fought successfully in federal court for the right to keep some of the information secret. Story RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - BigMark - 08-24-2017 Why does it matter, he's never home! RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 08-24-2017 That Friday that was referenced, btw, is from April, it's not a recent day. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Carsman - 08-24-2017 Said it before, and now again! It's unfortunate that the best the Dems could put up against the Donald was only Clinton, Sanders, O'Malley, and the non mentionable other's! If they did have someone better, we might have had a different outcome! RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 08-24-2017 I don't see anything at all going on with Democrats. It's like they're stagnant. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Maggot - 08-24-2017 Dammit! Here I was thinking of bringing my own pen and signing my name using a splash of Calligraphy. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 08-24-2017 Ooooohh. I LOVE calligraphy. So elegant. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - BigMark - 08-25-2017 Trump sat alone in a boggy marsh, Totally emotionless except for his heart Mud flowed up into Trump's pajamas He totally confused all the passing piranhas He's Trump, he's Trump He's in my head He's Trump, he's Trump, he's Trump He might be dead Trump lingered last in line for brains And the one he got was sorta rotten and insane Small things so sad that birds could land Is Trump fast asleep or rockin' out with the band? He's Trump, he's Trump He's in my head He's Trump, he's Trump, he's Trump He might be dead Trump was limp and lonely and needed a shove Trump slipped on a kiss and tumbled into love He spent her twenties between the sheets Life limped along at sub-sonic speeds He's Trump, he's Trump He's in my head He's Trump, he's Trump, he's Trump He might be dead Is this Trump outta my head? I think so Is this Trump outta my head? I think so Is this Trump outta my head? I think so Is this Trump outta my head? RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 08-25-2017 Ahahaha! *applauds* Bravo! RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 08-25-2017 Trump pardoned Sheriff Joe. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - BigMark - 08-25-2017 I pardoned the Sheriff but not the deputy. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Maggot - 08-25-2017 He did a good job with those knucklehead illegals and should be promoted to official interior decorator for all prisons and holding cells along the southern border. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 08-26-2017 Accepting the pardon is an admission of guilt and opens him up to civil suits. Ahahahaha! That old, racist fuck is going to be sorry. He'll be tied up in courts until the day he dies. He'll die a pauper. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Maggot - 08-26-2017 That will teach him to uphold the law, in a lawless administration. Are you aware of the background? He broke the law, he didn't uphold it. Sheriff Joe should have done his 6-month sentence -- no pardon. President Trump again undermined the judiciary and sent a wrong message to bigots, in my opinion. Sheriff Joe was convicted of defying court orders over and over and over.......and then tried to claim he didn't understand those orders (which is unbelievable to me). I wouldn't object if he and his officers had busted people in the commission of a crime (or a suspected crime with sufficient probable cause) and alerted ICE when it turned out that the suspects were in Arizona illegally. However, that's not what he and his officers did. Instead, they routinely stopped people without probable cause, based only on the fact that they looked Hispanic -- which ain't a crime. That's just racial profiling and discrimination, and it negatively affected a lot of legal residents/citizens of the state. RE: THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY - Duchess - 08-28-2017 Trump just said he pardoned Arpaio as Harvey hit Texas because "I assumed the ratings would be far higher than they would be normally."
