With the amount of penalties last night, the Eagles were lucky to hold on.

They need to clean that shit up before the end of the season.

Still a very nice win over a good team. As MS said, the East is theirs if they don't screw it up.

‘The Mountain’ from Game Of Thrones is blowing the giant Viking horn before tomorrow’s Vikings-Packers game.

His real name is Thor Bjornson.

If you take a look at his pic, it definitely seems appropriate.

Fuckin' A, that's so cool!

The Mountain is badass, badder than bad. He squashed a man's head. Awesome fight scene if one is into that. I watched the head squashing through my fingers.

MS, where are you. Aaron Rogers is not moving his right arm. Someone tried to high five him and he had to use his left. Wooooo

They haven't been able to confirm this yet but apparently there is some concern he has broken his collarbone.

I read his lips, he said fuck you as he was walking away. I'm pretty sure it was said in the direction of the guy who tackled him.

RE: NFL 2017 - Duchess - 10-15-2017

Confirmed! Broken collarbone, could be out the rest of the season.

I never would want Rodgers to be hurt and lost for the year, but at the same time, Packer fans don’t feel bad for us when shitty things happen to our club.

I completely understand. It's competitive and dog eat dog. All's fair in love & war.

Morelli and his officiating crew are in some deep shit right now. Pederson has sent film to the NFL. Jeffries got a PI call for a gentle push, yet the panthers backfield got away with murder all night long and the officials looked the other way. If you look at every other game the Iggs have played this year you don't see half those calls. It was biased, no two ways about it. Even Romo commented to it. They need to fire that crew.

I just read there is a petition out there with over 40,000 signatures. People don't want him officiating our games. I understand we have some shit to work on but the disparity is fuckin' ridiculous.

RE: NFL 2017 - Blindgreed1 - 10-16-2017

The current data (after 4 games his crew officiated) suggests that the Eagles are over 500% more likely to get penalized than their opponent by Morelli's crew.

RE: NFL 2017 - Jimbone - 10-16-2017

Damn, that's some statistical significance!

Off with his head! The_Villagers

MS, Teddy has been cleared for practice.

That's a good thing. Word on the street is that Bradford's knee injury is a career ending injury. Gawdamn shame that kid never really had the opportunity to show what he could do at the NFL level.

Over the last four games, the Eagles have been flagged 40 times for 396 yards while opponents have been called for just eight penalties for 72 yards.

I heard that too.

I also heard they've been doing some weird woo woo voodoo stuff (my words, not theirs) up in Canada involving injecting blood into his knee. Take it for what it's worth.

Blood doping isn't going to help Sam's knee. I really do feel for him though.

RE: NFL 2017 - Midwest Spy - 10-16-2017

The Bradford knee injury this season was so unexpected.

Vikings fans literally had 48 hours to enjoy his Monday Night season opening performance and then he’s put on the ‘questionable’ list by Friday.

He took a beating last year, and ran for his life behind one of the shittiest OL’s ever assembled, and came out unscathed.

Yet, in the season opener, he took 2 total hits all night, but he’s somehow done?

Perplexing.

As far as the hit on Rodgers yesterday, I did watch it live.

My first reaction was that LB Anthony Barr definitely turned him and drove him into the turf, but not completely over-the-top.

Many QB’s have survived hits like that, but in this case AR knew right away that something was wrong.

I feel bad about it, but as a fellow Viking fan pointed out, there was no flag thrown and, once a QB is out of the pocket, they should have less protection afforded them.

With the Lions slumping and Stafford struggling, the NFC North is right there for us.

Our D is solid and could steal us a game in the playoffs if we get there.
