Those couple of phantom calls at the end of the 1^st half essentially stopped a Jags drive for more points and the PI handed NE a TD.

Well blowing the play dead when dude man recovered the fumble took 6 points away from the jags (without assuming they got the extra point). That right there would have been a huge momentum shift for the game (see Eagles pick 6 against Minny). Why blow the play dead? Let him finish the play because every turnover is reviewed now anyway. The PI was just the icing on the cake. That swung the momentum in the opposite direction. I'd wager that if that ref (the one who was seen smiling during the NE TD celebration) never called the play dead, we'd be playing the Jags next weekend.

Duchess, I appreciate the kind words.

After a few days to gnaw on the loss, it’s easier to accept everything with such a sound defeat.

There are no ‘what coulda been’ moments as was the case in years past.

This was a beat down, pure and simple and bouncing back has almost been completed.

You enjoy your 2 weeks and put the Pats out of our misery!
