SALT & PEPPER - Duchess - 06-14-2017 Is it true that there is a difference between regular ground pepper vs grinding your own pepper corns as needed? My wife does just about all of our cooking. She uses salt over seasoned salt, but she does have a thing for sea salt. We have a pepper grinder for adding pepper at the table. These simple seasonings bring out the flavor of the dish/meat. With red meat and when she cooks seafood all we use is these two (unless she's doing a specialty seafood dish like her crab legs *drools*). I stopped using seasoning salt years ago, but I do use Mediterranean or Himalayan (pink) sea salt as table salts and of course fresh ground pepper on the table as well. |
