For 2000 years people have taken the messages and teachings of Jesus and perverted them to fit their own agenda, but his message in its original form is very good.

Zero, I’ve never been a big fan of yours, so having a one on one dialogue with you is something I’m not going to do.

The God that I know isn't the fire & brimstone one I sometimes see described online. God isn't a scary dude to me. The one I know is all about love & acceptance, kindness to others, he's not judgmental nor does he play favorites and he's understanding. He "gets" me.

I don't like that he is sometimes used to beat people down or to punish them. That's not godly, not by any stretch, that's just some kinda fucked excuse that a person came up with.

I've never cared if people believe or don't believe and I think it's horribly presumptuous of anyone to tell another how they should be worshiping or if they should be worshiping at all.

This year is the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation.

When Martin Luther introduced to the world that gaining Heaven was not done through works, but through Grace.

He also had the Bible translated into languages other than just Latin, so that everyday people could read.

He also said that anybody could pray to God, not just Priests.

The 1500’s became a clash between Catholicism and Protestantism.

The fire and brimstone message has been eroded much since that time and God is indeed loving and merciful.

This year is the 525th Anniversary of the Spanish Inquisition.

Millions of Jews from the fourth century CE until the 20th Century were forced to “kiss the sword” of Christ, or be put to death by that sword. Therefore, many, many Jews died at the hands of Christians in the name of Jesus. Fortunately, many Jews managed to survive. They survived by lying―they converted, but secretly remained Jews. The Christian Church finally realized what was happening and in 1492, the Spanish Inquisition tried to purge the country of these “Secret” Jews, called Marranos.
