Do you eat hotdogs? If you have your way, what goes on your dog?

RE: HOTDOGS! - Maggot - 01-27-2018

They have to be all beef with no by products and onions, maple mustard and relish.

RE: HOTDOGS! - Midwest Spy - 01-27-2018

Spicy mustard and onions.

And kinda burnt.

When we went to NYC back in 2013, my 6 year old at the time would talk to me about the hot dogs we were going to get while there, and how real NY’ers would never, EVER have ketchup available for their dogs.

So, we’re in Central Park and walk up to the hot dog vendor and first thing he asks is, “want ketchup?’

Very, very disappointed.

.

Hebrew National All beef dogs, grilled well, lots of Nathan's Deli mustard, lots of MT. Olive hot Dog relish,
and lots of Silver Floss Sauerkraut, on a "slightly grilled" Pepridge Farm Bun! The End.

The vendor likely wasn't a "New Yorker"! hah

I like them Chicago style topped with yellow mustard, chopped onion, relish, sliced tomatoes, sports peppers, a pickle spear and a dash of celery salt on a poppy seed bun.

I don't really like Hebrew National, Sabaret or Nathan's all beef hotdogs. They're greasy and have no snap when you bite into them. I think Hoffmann's is the best grocery store brand which is made with pork and beef.

I wonder what kind are used for the hotdog eating contest.............Clang might know.

RE: HOTDOGS! - Carsman - 01-27-2018

The big national contest on TV in NY uses Nathan's.

I remember what hot dogs look like when they are regurgitated, one chunk always catches on the nostril vent.
