It's straight up dumb, at least boxing takes skill, any moron can flail about trying to land punches until both are a bloody mess.

I dislocated a knuckle hitting a guy once. Bloody hard to put in because your knuckle is so close to the other knuckles and what happens is that hand swells and a heap of fluid rushes in making it hard to manipulate it. I probably ought to have worn boxing gloves
