Mark my words and you can take this to the bank. - Fry Guy - 08-24-2018

A problem people seem to make with Trump is that they see him as either stupid or incompetent. I honestly believe that he exemplifies the "method in your madness". I do not literally think he is mad but I think he is uber-unconventional and the successes he has had (Hell want an example of that. He went from hurling insults at little rocket man to meeting him, having hostages and remains delivered back and renewed relationships with South Korea and North Korea). He does this kind of shit all the time and gets results.

The other thing is look at the things that SHOULD have sunk him and he endured and came out of. Hands up all those who remember Jessica Leeds. What about Stormy, is she still a thing? David Hogg? Avenati is still in the picture isn't he? Jeb!

So I KNOW he is disliked by many and not in a rational "I do not care for his beliefs or his polices/politics" but in a "I hate him so much. He is evil/deranged/bigoted (and whatever) and no effort to damage and ruin him is off the table because he is a special case"

THIS is a problem. I think America has gone WAY off the reservation with their animus and their efforts against him. They have contravened about every standard moral, ethical, legal and such in their efforts to stop/minimise/eradicate/censor/ruin him. Nothing is too much. They do not consider him like they consider others because he is a monster in their eyes and what exactly CAN'T you do to a monster?

But their IS a price for these efforts. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. What IF everyone thinking "Shit if "I" was getting hammered night and day by the press and the Democrats and had Impeachment and Indictments hanging over my head like a Sword of Damocles "I" would be petrified and unable to govern and get dispirited and give up or make mistakes and ....." BUT Trump was thinking "Fuck these guys. I will just keep doing what I am doing and these guys have nothing. I have their number"?

Can you imagine the ego someone would have to have to imagine that? Perhaps you do not have a Trump sized ego? Do you believe this is entirely possible? But there is actually more to it.

What if he believes this so strongly to be true and he is keeping tally. What if every over reach or collaborative effort made that oversteps the mark legally is remembered and sealed in indictments.

What if "Sleepy Jeff Sessions" (who Trump publicly disclaims and distances every chance he can get) is focusing his efforts away from the ridiculous Russian collusion narrative that he knows is generated by Trump opponents to smear and de-legitimise him and worse yet distract and project away from very real crimes and improprieties.

What if whilst everyone is focusing for 2 years on a dead in the water Russian collusion narrative, Sessions has been quietly replacing the Obama holdovers with Trump appointees and making watertight case after watertight case against Trump enemies and against threats to the US citizens like child traffickers and the like. In any give year you could expect about 1000-2000 sealed indictments. Got access to PACER? check this out (look at the yellow print) https://stillnessinthestorm.com/2018/07/40483-sealed-indictments-counted-as-of-june-30-2018/

Sleepy Jeff is not that Sleepy. Mark my words. Regardless of how things go, A) Trump is not "going down" and B) the Democrats are going to be decimated and c) the establishment politicans in the Republican party are going to be slapped.

Trump does not play. Precedent is a terrible thing.

Not a problem at all. He's a goddamn moron, Fry Guy. I don't ever mind at all when people don't agree with me, it's okay, you and everyone reading this are absolutely entitled to your own opinions, I would never say differently and I never try to convince people their opinion is the wrong opinion. That's not how I roll.

Funnily enough, I am in mixed minds about this. I WANT the kind of Progressive push in society and culture checked and i think this latest cultural push through Trump could do it.

However I think in real terms the precedents set but people NOT called Trump but against him that HE can now use righteously, I think is pretty bad.

I mean this in EXACTLY the same way I talk of the Washington Post and New York Times of old being VERY respectable and credible but have allowed their hatred to Trump to allow them to become "fake news" anti-Trump propaganda rags for the most part. I think all of it is unnecessary.

Trump gets the Presidency like every other President. He is NOT illegally in the White House. He is not a Fake President or illegitimate.

He should serve his term and if he is a rotten President, he should be voted out after 4 years. Bad behaviour against him justifies ANY hit back from him. Wrestle a pig in the mud...

Just to be clear, because I wouldn't want anyone to think differently, but I've never stated he is a fake prez or an illegitimate one.

I look at his accomplishments not his daily rhetoric. Every single businessman shoots high in order to gain the middle. When a person sells a car they sell for 1000 if they get 800 that works. Quite a few people cannot get past his tweets or talking points to get at the meat of the matter.  I believe he is one of the most patriotic individuals in Washington and believe he is doing what needs to be done for this country. I also believe he does not differentiate between black and white and goes by the character of a person.

Oh Hell no. I do not think you think this. I just think you hate the guy. I do not think this is faked or from a position of virtue boosting or anything like. I DO respect that kind of honest position.

Just so I am not confusing the reading of my intent, I believe that politics (especially in the US) is so very polarised and that organisations such as Fox and Breitbart are essentially cheerleaders and propagandaists for the right BUT SOME of what they say and some points they make are well made, some points are right but exaggerated, some points are completely minimised, downplayed or excluded because they do not sell the right narrative and some are simply spun and convoluted in ways that do not come close to objective truths AND some organisations such as CNN, MSNBC, NYT and Washington Post are essentially cheerleaders and propagandaists for the left BUT SOME of what they say and some points they make are well made, some points are right but exaggerated, some points are completely minimised, downplayed or excluded because they do not sell the right narrative and some are simply spun and convoluted in ways that do not come close to objective truths

So often when I see anti-Trump animus I see a narrative been put out. Important and salient facts are being left out and things that counter the narrative.

An example is that which I presented about Obama who was as soft as soft with Russia and hardly lifted an eyebrow when they sent in the Russian army into Ukraine to annex Crimean Peninsula. Obama sent blankets and socks. TRUMP sent Javelin missiles to Ukraine. Obama WHEN he was President told Putin to "Cut it out" in reference to the hacking and Trump sent packing 60 Russian diplomats (the most EVER sent home from US) and implement sanctions. Obama stated AFTER the election he would have more flexibility to deal with Russia.

IF it is that there is a popular Left wing narrative that Trump is Putin's puppet and there obviously is. Then do the above FACTS support it. No! However the above facts are never touted by the side that is anti-Trump because it deflates the narrative.

The name of the game seems to be selective outrage, exaggeration, omission, mindless conflation and virtue signaling. But it is worse, because of the dishonesty in the press and the talking heads, many people are taking as truths being spoken from on high are not. They suffer from every issue I just mentioned and so ideological bubbles are reinforced and fed.

They need to be burst. I am simply trying to provide some counter balance where I can. When I hear stuff that doesn't sound right for reasons I have, I share.

Interesting.

.
"Interesting", is putting it mildly!

RE: Mark my words and you can take this to the bank. - Fry Guy - 10-03-2019

What is done to one can be done to another. Does anyone think that every attack on Trump's character and action will not be seen as a precedent and NOT used on the next Democrat President?
They do not tbink that far ahead.
Can you imagine how hollow "but Trump was different" will sound?

With all the shit that the dems have pulled in the last 3 years alone they should not be allowed back in office for a Long time
