RE: ELECTION 2020 - Maggot - 03-26-2020 This is what many of the liberal Dems are saying about Joe. It's a rare thing for me to agree with them. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Maggot - 03-26-2020 The only thing the Democrats could do that might save their ass is to nominate Cuomo. RE: ELECTION 2020 - HairOfTheDog - 03-26-2020 I agree that Joe Biden had a tough time standing out in the crowded Democratic field, and he sometimes seemed unfocused or struggled with his stuttering early on (which is when those pundit clips were taped). But, he did very well with primary voters and in the one-on-one debate with Bernie, plus I think he's widely regarded as much more trustworthy and compassionate than President Trump. Those personal characteristics, along with Biden's executive and crisis experience, could help him defeat Trump at this trying time for our country (and the world). The impacts of the coronavirus pandemic will still be a major factor in American life come November (and long after), in my opinion. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Rootilda - 03-26-2020 I'm not a big Biden fan but I trust him to hire qualified, experienced and intelligent people for his administration and to actually listen to them. That counts for a lot. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Rootilda - 03-27-2020 We don't need another president that boasts that he's got a real knack for science, everyone says so, because he had an uncle that taught at MIT or some shit. RE: ELECTION 2020 - HairOfTheDog - 03-28-2020 An update on the efforts Joe Biden's campaign is currently undertaking to secure more support from younger and more progressive Americans: https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/28/joe-biden-plan-to-court-young-progressives-151787 RE: ELECTION 2020 - Duchess - 03-28-2020 (03-27-2020, 12:06 AM)Rootilda Wrote: We don't need another president that boasts that he's got a real knack for science, everyone says so, because he had an uncle that taught at MIT or some shit. ...or says he knows more than the Generals and then goes on to call those same men babies & dopes. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Rootilda - 03-28-2020 RE: ELECTION 2020 - Maggot - 03-28-2020 I saw that but who listens to Faux news? Jeez, I kill me! RE: ELECTION 2020 - cannongal - 03-28-2020 Who answers honestly in those stupid polls anyway? 4 years ago I told them I was a Jewish national with ties to Mother Russia who wanted to vote for Garth Brooks. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Maggot - 03-28-2020 Polls are like a shut ins candy. They only apply to the idiots willing to sit and endure them. They are useless. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Duchess - 04-09-2020 So...Bernie is out and Joe blows by trump in every demographic except white men. He can't win with just those white dudes. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Carsman - 04-09-2020 Polls, Polls, ask Hillary about Polls! RE: ELECTION 2020 - Duchess - 04-09-2020 I find it very hard to believe that the majority of people would want another 4 years of this shitshow. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Carsman - 04-09-2020 My wife's cousin called us today to see how we were doing. And somehow Donald's name (we know he loves Trump) came up, and Damn, the cousin was raving about all the good Donald is doing and how wonderfully he's handing the pandemic! There was no reasoning with the cousin! RE: ELECTION 2020 - Duchess - 04-09-2020 There are millions, MILLIONS, of people who view it exactly the same way. Facts & logic are meaningless. I think it’s just as simple as they don’t care, they simply don’t care. They know he’s a liar, they know he cheats and steals, they just don’t give a fuck. RE: ELECTION 2020 - Rootilda - 04-09-2020 How anyone could watch Trump saying only one person has it and it'll disappear like a miracle about a month ago and now the US has 16,498 dead as I type this and still think he's doing a great job makes me think they deserve whatever karma brings them when they go to Easter services and shake each others' hands for a job well done. Although I think Biden's handlers should stick him in the attic for a bit so he can get some sunlight. Ok, Ok I won't gloat.
