10:02pm - I am watching the movie The Strangers right now. So far it is pretty suspenseful and scary. My wife just screamed out loud, which of course made me laugh at her. I will keep posting if anything else good happens.

1) it never ceases to amaze me how every horror movie has doors with no peep holes in them, so you are forced to open up the doors to look.
2) movies like this are scary because they are about potentially REAL situation like home invasions.

10:18 they are fighting back, which always happens for a little while. wonder how long they will make it.....wife has not screamed in a while. I will say that the music is pretty good and used in an interesting way in this flick.

I have not watched a movie in maybe 6 months but listening to you describe this one makes me look forwards to long dark nights,within wild windy windows rattling for short moments at uncertain times. That is why you truly SUCK. Winter is cruel. If not for cool movies I look forward to watching, like Ironman, winter would be to bleak to take.::bs::<------current most unused smiley.

10:55- it is an OK movie. The scariest thing about it is that it could actually happen. That is about it. I give it 2.5 stars overall and 2 stars on the scary meter. it is OK.

I had high hopes for this when I saw the trailer.
After reading your review it sounds like it is going to be yet another disappointment.
