well yeah. But they go on a different channel when things get crazy. Normal traffic stops and things get on the air. I have a very old scanner that gets a couple extra channels.

I used to have one but cops here don't use radios any more. They use cellphones and tablets.

They have whats called coms. I know this cas Ive heard them saying it when Ive been in police cars (I tend to get arrested a lot). I guess thats dispatch.
