Question for Frank - Julie - 02-20-2010

Frank,

Why didn't you make Mock part of 24 Hour Forums?

RE: Question for Frank - Lady Cop - 02-20-2010

i am NOT speaking for Frank, but if i might offer my opinion since i have been at 24 for 3 12 years... the idea for Mock came later, many 24 members would have been horribly offended at the things that were said here. in fact, most of what was/is said here would have been bannable offenses at 24. it would have hurt feelings and embarrassed people. i think if Mock had been incorporated into 24, most of the membership would have left. Mock and 24 are like comparing apples and oranges.

Thanks jack. I am hoping frank will see this too. I'm very curious about his thoughts on it.

RE: Question for Frank - Middle Finger - 02-20-2010

Hi Julie, two things ...

1 - I wanted a standalone site so that the standards and rules can be fundamentally different. I wanted to start a new venture I thought would be interesting and I was starting to get burnt out, needing an escape. It was the start of me just wanting to be a member, too.

2 - How am I doing, in general?

RE: Question for Frank - Julie - 02-20-2010

OIC...

But you found out that you couldn't be just a member if you're identity as the owner / admin is known.

I hope you're enjoying being just a member. I can see the appeal of it. Running a forum is a lot of work.

The concept of Mock is an interesting one.

I knew I could relax more and say some more shit, which was close enough at the time, my sexy racist African Queen.

When does the relaxing part start ?

RE: Question for Frank - Middle Finger - 02-20-2010

When you decide it does.
