The weather terrorists are out in force today. They all say they don't like bringing us some of this info yet they couldn't seem any more delighted to do so. THE COLDEST AIR IN 20 YEARS IS GOING TO COVER OUR REGION they almost shout with big, fat smiles on their faces.

I need to know the weather, just the facts, no drama like the local people are giving me so I went to the weather channel. I now know where my local weather people get it from.

I won't even watch the weather channel anymore because of that. I hate any kind of drama, good or bad. I'm a habitual eye roller and it gives me a headache.

I got a call today from a guy that wanted me to plow because the guy that normally does it slipped off a roof and landed in some bushes and a branch went into his calf muscle.
Anyways,I almost forgot how fun it is going full speed into a snow pile and pushing it over an embankment. It gets old when you do it all the time but for just a day it was fun. He paid me 150.00 and I didn't wreck his truck so its all good.
Also, I noticed my toilet water moving around and was wondering why, then a 60mph wind gust hit the house and it wiggled again. The house was shaking! Damn its cold out! I went to the store and it was -2 but with the wind I bet it's -20 or something.

I think that might what they ended up discovering but I'm not certain, I stopped asking and it was getting dark at that point. They worked on it all day and for a period of time there was some thought it was an issue with the pump/well but that turned out to not be the case. I got some water delivered from the barn so it hasn't been too awful but there is a snow storm moving in tonight. Not a lot of snow but it doesn't take much here for it to shut down my entire state.

We got less than 2 inches Saturday and with the wind blowing 50 mph there were at least 6 20+car pileups within 20 miles of where I live.

That wind sucked! My little weather station here recorded -15. We just don't get weather like this. So many people are experiencing water/pipe issues. We got a little snow Saturday night but I look out my office window and see bare ground in some spots and itty bitty snow drifts in others. If there has been weather like this here before, I have no memory of it. It's 10 fricken degrees right now.

The past few days were chilly, but today is breezy and in the 70s so I have all my widows open.
