I put away the pool for the season. Put my tropical plants up in the barn in the pool room. Put away my furniture and cushions...and it's been 80 degrees here for days.

That's nice though, right? I think snow is magical. I spent years lusting for snow here, I still like just not quite as much as I used to. I'd feel differently if I could ski and do other fun snow activities.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the 4 seasons, and I know my kids and their cousins love playing in snow.
I just am not a fan of Winter being longer than the other three seasons.
I was out on the boat a month ago or so...
Autumn needs to last until at least Thanksgiving.

It's been unusually hot, dry, and windy here for the last three weeks.
Today is cooler, sunny with a light breeze in the mid 70s.
It's supposed to be beautiful this weekend too. Good for working on the backyard and catching some rays.

I'm to the East of DC. While it does get cold here, having these type of temps is pretty much unheard of at this time of year. Bring it on.

This is when Florida weather starts to get nice. Low 80s today, but we'll start seeing 70s and 60s soon. Then we'll have a few days that will freeze your ass off, I remember flurries of snow one year. It only lasted 15 seconds, but it was still snow.

Well it didn't go down to 13 last night, it only went to 20.
But tonight it should hit 13 or so, as it's "19" right now at 7:30pm.
