Happy Birthday, USMC!

I've always loved the Marines.

My step-brother served during Desert Storm, and then went back again in 2004.

I love the way the Corps is portrayed in 'A Few Good Men', and quite frankly, even though the character dies in the movie because of a 'Code Red', that's probably the reality of a unit staying sharp. In-house 'training'.

Jack Nicholson's character, while an arrogant prick, is a Marine through and through.

'Honor, Code, Country'.

People like Cynical Ninja use those words as a punchline.

One of my all-time favorite scenes:

Yeah the "honour" of code red?

It really does bring a tear to the eye.
